Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور موسیٰؑ اپنے دل میں ڈر گیا۔1

  1. معلوم ایسا ہوتا ہے کہ جونہی حضرت موسیٰ کی زبان سے ”پھینکو“ کا لفظ نکلا ، جادوگروں نے یکبارگی اپنی لاٹھیاں اور رسیاں ان کی طرف پھینک دیں اور اچانک ان کو یہ نظر آیا کہ سینکڑوں سانپ دوڑتے ہوئے ان کی طرف چلے آرہے ہیں۔ اِس منظر سے فوری طور پر اگر حضرت موسیٰ نے ایک دہشت اپنے اندر محسُوس کی ہو تو یہ کوئی عجیب بات نہیں ہے۔ انسان بہر حال انسان ہی ہوتاہے ۔ خواہ پیغمبر ہی کیوں نہ ہو، انسانیت کے تقاضے اُس سے منفک نہیں ہو سکتے۔ علاوہ بریں یہ  بھی ممکن ہے کہ اُس وقت حضرت موسیٰ کو یہ خوف لاحق ہوا ہو کہ معجزے سے اس قدر مشابہ منظر دیکھ کر عوام ضرور فتنے میں پڑ جائیں گے۔ اس مقام پر یہ بات لائق ذکر ہے کہ قرآن یہاں اس امر کی تصدیق  کر رہا ہے کہ عا م انسانوں کی طرح پیغمبر بھی جادو سے متأ ثر ہو سکتا ہے۔ اگرچہ جادوگر اس کی نبوت سلب کر لینے ، یا اس کے اوپر نازل ہونے والی وحی میں خلل ڈال دینے ، یا جادو کے اثر سے اس کو گمراہ کر دینے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا، لیکن فی الجملہ کچھ دیر کے لیے اس کے قویٰ پر یک گو نہ اثر ضرور ڈال سکتا ہے۔ اس سے اُن لوگوں کے خیال کی غلطی کھل جاتی ہے جو احادیث میں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر جادو  کا اثر ہونے کی روایات پڑھ کر نہ صرف اُن روایات کی تکذیب کرتے ہیں بلکہ اس سے آگے بڑھ کر تمام حدیثوں کو ناقابلِ اعتبار ٹھیرانے لگتے ہیں۔

تو موسیٰ ؑ نے اپنے جی میں کچھ ڈر محسوس کیا

آیت 67 فَاَوْجَسَ فِیْ نَفْسِہٖ خِیْفَۃً مُّوْسٰی۔ ”حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو یہ خوف لاحق ہوا کہ جو معجزہ میرے پاس ہے اسی نوعیت کی چیز تو جادوگروں نے بھی دکھا دی ہے۔ چناچہ اب یہ سارے تماشائی تالیاں پیٹیں گے کہ موسیٰ کو شکست ہوگئی اور وہ جو عظیم الشان مشن اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے سپرد کیا ہے اس کا کیا بنے گا ؟
