- وَلَااور نہ
- تَجْعَلُواتم بناؤ
- اللّٰهَاللہ کو
- عُرْضَةًنشانہ۔ ڈھال۔ ہدف
- لِّاَیْمَانِكُمْاپنی قسموں کے لیے
- اَنْکہ
- تَبَرُّوْاتم نیکی کرو
- وَتَتَّقُوْااور تم تقوی اختیار کرو
- وَتُصْلِحُوْااور تم صلح کراؤ
- بَیْنَدرمیان
- النَّاسِ ؕلوگوں کے
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- سَمِیْعٌسننے والا ہے
- عَلِیْمٌجاننے والا ہے

Tafheem-ul-Quran
اللہ کے نام کو ایسی قسمیں کھانے کے لیے استعمال نہ کرو، جن سے مقصود نیکی اور تقوٰی اور بندگان خدا کی بھلائی کے کاموں سے باز رہنا ہو۔1 اللہ تمہاری باتین سن رہا ہے اور سب کچھ جانتا ہے

احادیثِ صحیحہ سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ جس شخص نے کسی بات کی قَسم کھائی ہو اور بعد میں اس پر واضح ہو جائے کہ اِس قَسم کے توڑ دینے ہی میں خیر اور بھلائی ہے، اسے قَسم توڑ دینی چاہیے اور کفّارہ ادا کرنا چاہیے۔ قَسم توڑنے کا کفّارہ دس مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلانا یا انہیں کپڑے پہنانا یا ایک غلام آزاد کرنا یا تین دن کے روزے رکھنا ہے۔( ملاحظہ ہو سُورہ مائدہ ، آیت 89)
