اَمْیا
كُنْتُمْتھے تم
شُهَدَآءَحاضر / موجود
اِذْجب
حَضَرَآرہی تھی
یَعْقُوْبَیعقوب کو
الْمَوْتُ ۙموت
اِذْجب
قَالَکہا اس نے
لِبَنِیْهِاپنے بیٹوں سے
مَاکس کی
تَعْبُدُوْنَتم عبادت کرو گے

اِلٰهًاالہ
وَّاحِدًا ۖۚایک کی
وَّنَحْنُاور ہم
لَهٗاس کے لئیے
مُسْلِمُوْنَفرماں بردار ہیں
۟

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

کیا تم اس وقت موجود تھے جب آدھمکی یعقوب پر موت جب کہا اپنے بیٹوں سے کہ تم کس کی عبادت کرو گے میرے بعد ؟ انہوں نے کہا ہم بندگی کریں گے آپ کے معبود کی اور آپ کے آباء ابراہیم اسماعیل اور اسحاق کے معبود کی وہی ایک معبود ہے اور ہم سب اسی کے مطیع فرمان ہیں

Commentary

آیت 133 اَمْ کُنْتُمْ شُہَدَآءَ اِذْ حَضَرَ یَعْقُوْبَ الْمَوْتُ لا یعنی جب یعقوب علیہ السلام کی موت کا وقت آیا۔ اس وقت حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام اور ان کے سب بیٹے حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام کے ذریعے مصر میں پہنچ چکے تھے۔ یہ سارا واقعہ سورة یوسف میں بیان ہوا ہے۔ حضرت یعقوب علیہ السلام کا انتقال مصر میں ہوا۔ دنیا سے رخصت ہونے سے پہلے انہوں نے اپنے بارہ کے بارہ بیٹوں کو جمع کیا۔اِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِیْہِ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْم بَعْدِیْ ط کس کی پوجا کرو گے ؟ کس کی پرستش کروگے ؟ یہ بات نہیں تھی کہ انہیں معلوم نہ تھا کہ انہیں کس کی عبادت کرنی ہے ‘ بلکہ آپ علیہ السلام نے قول وقرار کو مزید پختہ کرنے کے لیے یہ انداز اختیار فرمایا۔قَالُوْا نَعْبُدُ اِلٰہَکَ وَاِلٰہَ اٰبَآءِکَ اِبْرٰہٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِیْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ اِلٰہًا وَّاحِدًا ج وَّنَحْنُ لَہٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ ہم اسی کے سامنے سرجھکاتے ہیں اور اسی کی فرماں برداری کا اقرار کرتے ہیں۔
