- وَلَنْاور ہرگز نہیں
- تَرْضٰیراضی ہوں گے
- عَنْكَآپ سے
- الْیَهُوْدُیہود
- وَلَااورنہ
- النَّصٰرٰیعیسائی/ نصائی
- حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
- تَتَّبِعَتم پیروی کرنے لگ جاؤ
- مِلَّتَهُمْ ؕان کے طریقے کی
- قُلْکہہ دیجئے
- اِنَّبیشک
- هُدَیہدایت
- اللّٰهِاللہ
- هُوَوہ ہی
- الْهُدٰی ؕجو ہدایت ہے
- وَلَىِٕنِاور البتہ اگر
- اتَّبَعْتَپیروی کی تم نے/ اتباع کیا تم نے
- اَهْوَآءَهُمْان کی خواہشات کی
- بَعْدَبعد
- الَّذِیْاس کے جو
- جَآءَكَآیا تیرے پاس
- مِنَسے
- الْعِلْمِ ۙعلم
- مَانہیں ہوگا
- لَكَتیرے لئے
- مِنَسے
- اللّٰهِاللہ (بچانے والا)
- مِنْکوئی
- وَّلِیٍّدوست
- وَّلَااورنہ
- نَصِیْرٍکوئی مددگار

Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
یہودی اور عیسائی تم سے ہر گز راضی نہ ہو نگے ، جب تک تم ان کے طریقے پر نہ چلنے لگو۔1 صاف کہہ دو کہ راستہ بس وہی ہے جو اللہ نے بتایا ہے۔ ورنہ اگر اس علم کے بعد جو تمہارے پس آچکا ہے، تم نے اُن کی خواہشات کی پیروی کی ، تو اللہ کی پکڑ سے بچانے والا کوئی دوست اور مددگار تمہارے لیے نہیں ہے

مطلب یہ ہے کہ ان لوگوں کی ناراضی کا سبب یہ تو ہے نہیں کہ وہ سچے طالبِ حق ہیں اور تم نے ان کے سامنے حق کو واضح کر نے میں کچھ کمی کی ہے۔ وہ تو اس لیے تم سے ناراض ہیں کہ تم نے اللہ کی آیات اور اس کے دین کے ساتھ وہ منافقانہ اور بازی گرانہ طرزِ عمل کیوں اختیار نہ کیا، خدا پرستی کے پردے میں وہ خود پرستی کیوں نہ کی ، دین کے اُصُول و احکام کو اپنے تخیلات یا اپنی خواہشات کے مطابق ڈھالنے میں اُد دیدہ دلیری سے کیوں نہ کام لیا ، وہ ریاکاری اور گندم نمائی و جو فروشی کیوں نہ کی، جو خود ان کا اپنا شیوہ ہے۔ لہٰذا انھیں راضی کرنے کی فکر چھوڑ دو، کیونکہ جب تک تم ان کے سے رنگ ڈھنگ نہ اختیار کر لو، دین کے ساتھ وہی معاملہ نہ کرنے لگو، جو خود یہ کرتے ہیں، اور عقائد و اعمال کی اُنہیں گمراہیوں میں مُبتلا نہ ہو جا ؤ ، جن میں یہ مبتلا ہیں، اُس وقت تک ان کا تم سے راضی ہونا محال ہے۔
