  1. اِنَّاۤبیشک ہم نے
  2. اَرْسَلْنٰكَبھیجا ہم نے آپ کو
  3. بِالْحَقِّساتھ حق کے
  4. بَشِیْرًاخوش خبری دینے والا
  5. وَّنَذِیْرًا ۙاورڈرانے والا
  6. وَّلَااور نہ
  7. تُسْـَٔلُتم سے سوال کیا جائے گا
  8. عَنْبارے میں
  9. اَصْحٰبِساتھیوں کے
  10. الْجَحِیْمِجہنم کے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

(اس سے بڑھ کر نشانی کیا ہو گی کہ ) ہم نے تم کو علمِ حق کے ساتھ خوشخبری دینے والا اور ڈرانے والا بنا کر بھیجا۔1 اب جو لوگ جہنم سے رشتہ جوڑ چکے ہیں ، ان کی طرف سے تم ذمہ دار و جواب دہ نہیں ہو

  1. یعنی دُوسری نشانیوں کا کیا ذکر، نمایاں ترین نشانی محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اپنی شخصیّت ہے۔ آپ  ؐ کے نبوّت سے پہلے کے حالات، اور اُس قوم اور ملک کے حالات جس میں آپ ؐ پیدا ہوئے، اور وہ حالات جن میں آپ نے پرورش پائی اور 4۰ برس زندگی بسر کی، اور پھر وہ عظیم الشان کارنامہ جو نبی ؐ ہونے کے بعد آپ نے انجام دیا ، یہ سب کچھ ایک ایسی روشن نشانی ہے جس کے بعد کسی اور نشانی کی حاجت نہیں رہتی۔

(اے نبی ﷺ !) بیشک ہم نے آپ کو بھیجا ہے حق کے ساتھ بشیر اور نذیر بنا کر اور آپ ﷺ سے سوال نہیں کیا جائے گا جہنمیوں کے بارے میں

Commentary

آیت 119 اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنٰکَ بالْحَقِّ بَشِیْرًا وَّنَذِیْرًا لا آپ ﷺ ‘ کی بنیادی حیثیت یہ ہے کہ آپ ﷺ اہل حق کو جنت اور اس کی تمام تر نعمتوں کی بشارت دیں ‘ اور جو غلط راستے پر چل پڑیں ‘ کفر کریں ‘ منافقت میں مبتلا ہوں ‘ ملحد ہوں اور بدعملی کریں ان کو آپ ﷺ ‘ خبردار کردیں کہ ان کے لیے جہنم تیار کردی گئی ہے۔ آپ ﷺ کا کام دعوت ‘ ابلاغ ‘ تبلیغ اور نصیحت ہے۔ وَّلاَ تُسْءَلُ عَنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْجَحِیْمِ ۔ جو لوگ اپنے طرز عمل کی بنا پر جہنم کے مستحق قرار پا گئے ہیں ان کے بارے میں آپ ﷺ ذمہّ دار نہیں ہیں۔ آپ ﷺ سے یہ نہیں پوچھا جائے گا کہ یہ کیوں جہنم میں پہنچ گئے ؟ آپ ﷺ کے ہوتے ہوئے یہ جہنمی کیوں ہوگئے ؟ نہیں ‘ یہ آپ ﷺ ‘ کی ذمہ داری نہیں ہے۔ کون جنت میں جانا چاہتا ہے اور کون جہنم میں ‘ یہ آدمی کا اپنا فیصلہ ہے۔ آپ ﷺ کا کام حق کو واضح کردینا ہے ‘ اس کی وضاحت میں کمی نہ رہ جائے ‘ حق واضح ہوجائے ‘ کوئی اشتباہ باقی نہ رہے ‘ بس یہ ذمہ داری آپ ﷺ کی ہے ‘ اس سے زیادہ نہیں۔ انسان اگر اپنی اصل مسؤلیت سے زیادہ ذمہ داری اپنے سر پر ڈال لے تو خواہ مخواہ مشکل میں پھنس جاتا ہے۔ ہمارے ہاں کی بہت سی جماعتیں اسی طرح کی غلطیوں کی وجہ سے غلط راستے پر پڑگئیں اور پوری کی پوری تحریکیں برباد ہوگئیں۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ چاہتے تھے کہ کسی طرح یہ علماء یہود ایمان لے آئیں اور جہنم کا ایندھن نہ بنیں۔ ان کے لیے آپ ﷺ نے اللہ کے حضور دعائیں کی ہوں گی۔ جیسے مکی دور میں آپ ﷺ دعائیں مانگتے تھے کہ اے اللہ ! عمرو بن ہشام اور عمر بن خطاب میں سے کسی ایک کو تو میری جھولی میں ڈال دے اور اس کے ذریعے سے اسلام کو قوت عطا فرما !
