- فَانْطَلَقَا ۥتو دونوں چل دیے
- حَتّٰۤییہاں تک کہ
- اِذَاۤجب
- اَتَیَاۤوہ دونوں آئے
- اَهْلَوالوں کے
- قَرْیَةِایک بستی (والوں کے پاس)
- سْتَطْعَمَاۤتو ان دونوں نے کھانا مانگا
- اَهْلَهَااس کے رہنے والوں سے
- فَاَبَوْاتو انہوں نے انکار کردیا
- اَنْکہ
- یُّضَیِّفُوْهُمَاوہ مہمان بنائیں ان کو
- فَوَجَدَاتو ان دونوں نے پائی
- فِیْهَااس میں
- جِدَارًاایک دیوار
- یُّرِیْدُوہ چاہتی تھی

- یَّنْقَضَّٹوٹ جائے۔ ٹوٹ گرے

- شِئْتَتو چاہتا
- لَتَّخَذْتَالبتہ تو لے لیتا

پھر وہ دونوں چل پڑے یہاں تک کہ جب پہنچے ایک بستی کے لوگوں کے پاس تو انہوں نے کھانا مانگا بستی والوں سے تو انہوں نے انکار کردیا ان دونوں کی مہمان نوازی سے تو ان دونوں نے وہاں ایک دیوار دیکھی جو گرا چاہتی تھی تو اس (خضر) نے اسے سیدھا کردیا موسیٰ نے کہا : اگر آپ چاہتے تو اس پر کچھ اجرت لے لیتے

آیت 77 فَانْطَلَقَا ۪حَتّٰٓي اِذَآ اَتَيَآ اَهْلَ قَرْيَـةِۨ اسْـتَطْعَمَآ اَهْلَهَاکہ ہم مسافر ہیں بھوکے ہیں ہمیں کھانا چاہیے۔فَاَبَوْا اَنْ يُّضَيِّفُوْهُمَااس بستی کے باشندے کچھ ایسے کٹھور دل تھے کہ پوری بستی میں سے کسی ایک شخص نے بھی انہیں کھانا کھلانے کی حامی نہ بھری۔قَالَ لَوْ شِئْتَ لَتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًایہ ایسے ناہنجار لوگ ہیں کہ انہوں نے ہمیں کھانا تک کھلانے سے انکار کردیا تھا اور آپ نے بغیر کسی معاوضے کے ان کی دیوار مرمت کردی ہے۔ بہتر ہوتا اگر آپ اس کام کی کچھ اجرت طلب کرتے اور اس کے عوض ہم کھانا ہی کھالیتے۔
