  1. وَلَوْلَاۤاور کیوں نہ
  2. اِذْجب
  3. دَخَلْتَتم داخل ہوئے
  4. جَنَّتَكَاپنے باغ میں
  5. قُلْتَکہا تو نے
  6. مَاجو
  7. شَآءَچاہے
  8. اللّٰهُ ۙاللہ
  9. لَانہیں
  10. قُوَّةَقوت
  11. اِلَّامگر
  12. بِاللّٰهِ ۚساتھ اللہ کے
  13. اِنْاگر
  14. تَرَنِتم دیکھتے ہو مجھ کو
  15. اَنَامیں
  16. اَقَلَّکم تر ہوں
  17. مِنْكَتجھ سے
  18. مَالًامال میں
  19. وَّوَلَدًااور اولاد میں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور جب تُو اپنی جنّت میں داخل ہو رہا تھا تو اس وقت تیری زبان سے یہ کیوں نہ نکلا کہ ماشاء اللہ، لاقوة اِلّا باللّٰہ؟1 اگر تُو مجھے مال اور اولاد میں اپنے سے کمتر پا رہا ہے

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جب تو اپنے باغ میں داخل ہوا تو تو نے یوں کیوں نہ کہا : ماشاء اللہ ! (یعنی یہ سب اللہ کے فضل و کرم سے ہے۔) اللہ کے بدون کسی کو کوئی طاقت حاصل نہیں اگر تو مجھے دیکھتا ہے کہ میں تم سے مال اور اولاد میں کم ہوں

Commentary

آیت 39 وَلَوْلَآ اِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاۗءَ اللّٰهُ ۙ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا باللّٰهِ تجھے جب باغ میں ہر طرف خوش کن مناظر دیکھنے کو ملے اور پورا باغ پھلوں سے لدا ہوا نظر آیا تو تیری زبان سے ”ما شاء اللہ“ کیوں نہ نکلا اور تو نے یہ کیوں نہ کہا کہ یہ میرا کمال نہیں بلکہ اللہ کی دین ہے جو اصل طاقت اور اختیار کا مالک ہے ‘ اس کی اجازت اور مرضی کے بغیر کچھ نہیں ہوسکتا۔ یہ ”ماشاء اللہ“ وہ کلمہ ہے جس میں توحید کوٹ کوٹ کر بھری ہے ‘ کہ جو اللہ چاہتا ہے وہی ہوتا ہے کسی اور کے چاہنے سے یا اسباب و وسائل کے ہونے سے کچھ نہیں ہوتا۔
