اور تم سورج کو دیکھتے کہ جب وہ طلوع ہوتا تو ان کی غار سے داہنی طرف ہٹ جاتا اور جب وہ غروب ہوتا تو بائیں جانب ان سے کنی کترا جاتا اور وہ اس کی کھلی جگہ میں (لیٹے ہوئے) تھے یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہے جسے اللہ ہدایت دیتا ہے وہی ہدایت یافتہ ہوتا ہے اور جسے وہ گمراہ کر دے تو اس کے لیے تم نہیں پاؤ گے کوئی مدد گار راہ پر لانے والا

Commentary
وَاِذَا غَرَبَتْ تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَات الشِّمَالِ یعنی اس غار کا منہ شمال کی طرف تھا جس کی وجہ سے سورج کی براہ راست روشنی یا دھوپ اس میں دن کے کسی وقت بھی نہیں پڑتی تھی۔ ہمارے ہاں بھی دھوپ اور سائے کا یہی اصول کار فرما ہے۔ سورج کسی بھی موسم میں شمال کی طرف نہیں جاتا۔ اسی اصول کے تحت کارخانوں وغیرہ کی بڑی بڑی عمارات میں یہاں north light shells کا اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے تاکہ ایسے shells سے روشنی تو بلڈنگ میں آئے مگر دھوپ براہ راست نہ آئے۔وَهُمْ فِيْ فَجْــوَةٍ مِّنْهُ یعنی غار اندر سے کافی کشادہ تھی اور اصحاب کہف اس کے اندر کھلی جگہ میں سوئے ہوئے تھے۔
