اور جب تمہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے سمندر میں گم ہوجاتے ہیں وہ سب جنہیں تم پکارتے ہو سوائے اس (ایک اللہ) کے پھر جب وہ تمہیں بچا لاتا ہے خشکی کی طرف تو تم منہ موڑ لیتے ہو۔ اور انسان بڑا ہی نا شکرا ہے

آیت 67 وَاِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ جب کشتی طوفان میں گھر جاتی ہے اور موت سامنے نظر آنے لگتی ہے تو :ضَلَّ مَنْ تَدْعُوْنَ اِلَّآ اِيَّاهُ اس وقت تمہیں اپنے ان معبودوں میں سے کوئی بھی یاد نہیں رہتا جنہیں تم عام حالات میں اپنا مددگار سمجھتے ہو۔ اس آڑے وقت میں تم صرف اللہ ہی کو مدد کے لیے پکارتے ہو۔ یہ مضمون قرآن میں متعدد بار آچکا ہے۔
