  3. یُرِیْدُارادہ رکھتا ہے
  4. الْعَاجِلَةَجلدی ملنے والی چیز کا
  5. عَجَّلْنَاجلدی دیتے ہیں ہم
  6. لَهٗاس کے لئے
  7. فِیْهَااس میں
  8. مَاجو
  9. نَشَآءُہم چاہتے ہیں
  10. لِمَنْجس کے لئے
  11. نُّرِیْدُہم چاہتے ہیں
  12. ثُمَّپھر
  13. جَعَلْنَامقرر کردیتے ہیں ہم
  14. لَهٗاس کے لئے
  15. جَهَنَّمَ ۚجہنم کو
  16. یَصْلٰىهَاتاپے گا اس کو
  17. مَذْمُوْمًاملامت زدہ
  18. مَّدْحُوْرًارحمت سے دور رکھا ہوا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو کوئی عاجلہ1کا خواہشمند ہو، اسے یہیں ہم دے دیتے ہیں جو کچھ بھی جسے دینا چاہیں، پھر اس کے مقسُوم میں جہنّم لکھ دیتے ہیں جسے وہ تاپے گا ملامت زدہ اور رحمت سے محرُوم ہو کر۔2

  1. عاجلہ کےلغوی معنی ہیں جلدی ملنے والی چیز۔ اور اصطلاحاً قرآن مجید اس لفظ کو دنیا کے لیے استعمال کرتا ہے جس کے فائدے اور نتائج اسی زندگی میں حاصل ہوجا تے ہیں۔ اس کے مقابلے کی اصطلاح”آخرت“ہے جس کے فوائد اور نتائج کو موت کے بعد دوسری زندگی تک موخر کر دیا گیاہے۔

  2. مطلب یہ ہے کہ جو شخص آخرت کو نہیں مانتا ، یا آخرت تک صبر کرنے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہے اور اپنی کوششوں کا مقصود صرف دنیا اور اس کی کامیابیوں اور خوشحالیوں ہی کو بناتا ہے، اسے جو کچھ بھی ملےگا بس دنیا میں مل جائے گا۔ آخرت میں وہ کچھ نہیں پا سکتا ۔ اور بات صرف یہیں تک نہ رہے گی کہ اسے کوئی خوشحالی آخرت میں نصیب نہ ہوگی، بلکہ مزید برآں دنیا پرستی ، اور آخرت کی جوابدہی وذمہ داری سے بے پر واہی اس کے طرز عمل کو بنیادی طور پر ایسا غلط کر کے رکھ دے گی کہ آخرت میں وہ اُلٹا جہنم کا مستحق ہو گا۔
