اور (اے نبی !) ہم نے نہیں بھیجا آپ سے پہلے مگر مردوں ہی کو (رسول بنا کر) جن کی طرف ہم وحی کیا کرتے تھے تو تم لوگ اہل ذکر سے پوچھ لو اگر تم خود نہیں جانتے ہو

Commentary
آیت 43 وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ یعنی آپ پہلے نبی یا رسول نہیں ہیں بلکہ آپ سے پہلے ہم بہت سے رسول بھیج چکے ہیں۔ وہ سب کے سب آدمی ہی تھے اور ان کی طرف ہم اسی طرح وحی بھیجتے تھے جس طرح آج آپ کی طرف وحی آتی ہے۔ فَسْـــَٔـلُوْٓا اَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ یعنی اے اہل مکہ ! اگر تم لوگوں کو اس بارے میں کچھ شک ہے تو تمہارے پڑوس مدینہ میں وہ لوگ آباد ہیں جو سلسلۂ وحی و رسالت سے خوب واقف ہیں ان سے پوچھ لو کہ اب تک جو انبیاء و رسل اس دنیا میں آئے ہیں وہ سب کے سب انسان تھے یا فرشتے ؟
