Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہم نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا، انہوں نے آپ ہی اپنے اوپر ستم ڈھایا اور جب اللہ کا حکم آ گیا تو ان کے وہ معبود جنہیں وہ اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آ سکے اور انہوں نے ہلاکت و بربادی کے سوا انہیں کچھ فائدہ نہ دیا

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور ہم نے ان پر کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ انہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر خود ظلم ڈھایا تو ان کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آسکے ان کے وہ معبود جنہیں وہ اللہ کے سوا پکارا کرتے تھے جب آپ کے رب کا حکم آپہنچا اور انہوں نے کچھ اضافہ نہیں کیا ان کے حق میں مگر بربادی ہی کا

Commentary

وَمَا زَادُوْهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيْبٍ جب اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے عذاب استیصال کا حکم آگیا تو ان کے وہ معبود جنہیں وہ اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آسکے اور انہوں نے ان کی ہلاکت و بربادی کے سوا اور کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہیں کیا۔
