Commentary
آیت 1{ اِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْاَرْضُ زِلْزَالَہَا۔ } ”جب زمین ہلائی جائے گی جیسے کہ ہلائی جائے گی۔“ یعنی تم انسان یہ تصور بھی نہیں کرسکتے کہ اس زلزلے کی کیفیت کیسی ہوگی۔ سورة الحج کے آغاز میں اس کیفیت کی شدت کا نقشہ بایں الفاظ کھینچا گیا ہے :{ یٰٓــاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوْا رَبَّـکُمْج اِنَّ زَلْزَلَۃَ السَّاعَۃِ شَیْئٌ عَظِیْمٌ - یَوْمَ تَرَوْنَہَا تَذْہَلُ کُلُّ مُرْضِعَۃٍ عَمَّآ اَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ کُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَہَا وَتَرَی النَّاسَ سُکٰرٰی وَمَا ہُمْ بِسُکٰرٰی وَلٰکِنَّ عَذَابَ اللّٰہِ شَدِیْدٌ۔ } ”اے لوگو ! تقویٰ اختیار کروا پنے رب کا ‘ یقینا قیامت کا زلزلہ بہت بڑی چیز ہوگا۔ جس دن تم اس کو دیکھو گے ‘ اس دن حال یہ ہوگا کہ بھول جائے گی ہر دودھ پلانے والی جسے وہ دودھ پلاتی تھی اور دہشت کا عالم یہ ہوگا کہ ہر حاملہ کا حمل گرجائے گا اور تم دیکھو گے لوگوں کو جیسے وہ نشے میں ہوں ‘ حالانکہ وہ نشے میں نہیں ہوں گے ‘ بلکہ اللہ کا عذاب ہی بہت سخت ہے۔“
