Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور اپنے ربّ کی نعمت کا اظہار کرو۔1

  1. نعمت کا لفظ عام ہے جس سے مراد وہ نعمتیں بھی ہیں جو اس سورہ  کے نزول کے وقت تک اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے رسولِ پاک کو عطا فرمائی تھیں ، اور وہ نعمتیں بھی جو بعد میں اُس نے اپنے اُن وعدوں کے مطابق آپ کو عطا کیں جو اِس سورہ میں اُس  نے کیے تھے اور جن کو اُس نے بدرجۂ  اَتم پورا کیا۔ پھر حکم یہ ہے کہ اے نبی ؐ ہر نعمت جو اللہ نے تم کو دی ہے اُس کا ذکر اور اُس کا اظہار کرو۔ اب یہ ظاہر بات ہے کہ نعمتوں کے ذکر اور اظہار کی مختلف صورتیں ہو سکتی ہیں اور ہر نعمت اپنی نوعیت کے لحاظ سے اظہار کی ایک خاص صورت چاہتی ہے۔ مجموعی طور پر تمام نعمتوں کے اظہار کی صورت یہ ہے کہ زبان سے اللہ کا شکر ادا کیا جائے اور اس بات کا اقرار و اعتراف کیا جائے کہ جو نعمتیں بھی مجھے حاصل ہیں یہ سب اللہ کا فضل و احسان ہیں ورنہ کوئی چیز بھی میرے کسی ذاتی کمال کا نتیجہ نہیں ہے۔ نعمتِ نبوت کا اظہار اس طریقہ سے ہو سکتا ہے کہ دعوت و تبلیغ کا حق ادا کیا جائے۔ نعمتِ قرآن کے اظہار کی صورت یہ ہے کہ لوگوں میں زیادہ سے زیادہ اُس  کی اشاعت کی جائے اور اس کی تعلیمات لوگوں کے ذہن نشین کی جائیں۔ نعمتِ ہدایت کا اظہار اِس طرح ہو سکتا ہے کہ اللہ کی بھٹکی ہوئی مخلوق کو سیدھا راستہ بتایا جائے اور اس کام کی ساری تلخیوں اور تُرشیوں کو صبر کے ساتھ برداشت کیا جائے۔ یتیمی میں دستگیری کا جو احسان اللہ تعالیٰ نے کیا ہے اس کا تقاضا یہی ہے کہ یتیموں کے ساتھ ویسے ہی احسان کا سلوک کیا جائے۔ نادار سے مالدار بنا دینے کا جو احسان اللہ نے کیا اُس کا اظہار یہی صورت چاہتا ہے کہ  اللہ کے محتاج بندوں کی مدد کی جائے۔ غرض یہ ایک بڑی جامع ہدایت تھی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے انعامات و احسانات بیان کرنے کے بعد  اِس مختصر سے فقرے میں اپنے رسولِ مقبول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دی۔

اور اپنے رب کی نعمت کا بیان کریں۔

Commentary

آیت 1 1{ وَاَمَّا بِنِعْمَۃِ رَبِّکَ فَحَدِّثْ۔ } ”اور اپنے رب کی نعمت کا بیان کریں۔“ یہ ہدایت جو آپ ﷺ کو عطا ہوئی ہے ‘ یہ آپ ﷺ کے رب کی بہت بڑی نعمت ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی اس نعمت پر شکر کا تقاضا ہے کہ آپ ﷺ اس کی اس نعمت کا چرچا کریں اور اسے زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں تک پھیلائیں۔ اس حکم میں ہمارے لیے بہت بڑا سبق ہے۔ ہدایت کی نعمت کو اگر انسان اپنی ذات تک محدود کر کے بیٹھ رہے تو اس کا یہ طرزعمل بخل کے مترادف ہوگا۔ لہٰذا جس کسی کو اللہ تعالیٰ ہدایت کی دولت سے نوازے اسے چاہیے کہ اس خیر کو عام کرے اور اسے زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں تک پہنچانے کی کوشش کرے۔
