Surah 91, ayah 14

  1. فَكَذَّبُوْهُتو انہوں نے جھٹلایا اس کو
  2. فَعَقَرُوْهَاپھر کاٹ ڈالا اس کو
  3. فَدَمْدَمَتو ہلاکت ڈالی
  4. عَلَیْهِمْان پر
  5. رَبُّهُمْان کے رب نے
  6. بِذَنْۢبِهِمْان کے گناہوں کی وجہ سے
  7. فَسَوّٰىهَاپھر برابر کردیا اس کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

مگر انہوں نے اُس کی بات کو جھُوٹا قرار دیا ااور اُونٹنی کو مار ڈالا۔1 آخر کار اُن کے گناہ کی پاداش میں ان کے ربّ نے ان پر ایسی آفت توڑی کہ ایک ساتھ سب کو پیوندِ خاک کر دیا

  1. سورۂ اعراف میں ہے کہ اونٹنی کو مارنے کے بعد ثمود کے لوگوں نے حضرت صالح سے کہا  اب لے آؤ وہ عذاب  جس  سے تم ہمیں ڈراتے تھے(آیت 77)۔ اور سورۂ ہود میں ہے کہ حضرت صالح ؑ  نے اُن سے کہا تین دن اپنے گھروں میں اور مزے کر لو، اِس کے بعد عذاب آجائے گا اور یہ ایسی تنبیہ ہے جو جھوٹی ثابت نہ ہو گی(آیت ۶5)۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

تو انہوں نے اس کو جھٹلا دیا اور اونٹنی کی کونچیں کاٹ دیں۔ تو الٹ دیا ان پر عذاب ان کے رب نے ان کے گناہ کی پاداش میں اور سب کو برابر کردیا۔

Commentary

آیت 14{ فَکَذَّبُوْہُ فَعَقَرُوْہَاص } ”تو انہوں نے اس کو جھٹلا دیا اور اونٹنی کی کونچیں کاٹ دیں۔“ { فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَیْہِمْ رَبُّہُمْ بِذَنْبِہِمْ فَسَوّٰٹہَا۔ } ”تو الٹ دیا ان پر عذاب ان کے رب نے ان کے گناہ کی پاداش میں اور سب کو برابر کردیا۔“ ان کے جرمِ عظیم کی پاداش میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر عذاب استیصال نازل فرمایا اور پوری قوم کو ایک ساتھ پیوند خاک کردیا۔
