یعنی ہم نے محض عقل و فکر کی طاقتیں عطا کر کے اسے چھوڑ نہیں دیا کہ اپنا راستہ خود تلاش کرے ، بلکہ اس کی رہنمائی بھی کی اور اس کے سامنے بھلائی اور برائی ، نیکی اور بدی کے دونوں راستے نمایاں کر کے رکھ دیے تا کہ وہ خوب سوچ سمجھ کر ان میں سے جس کو چاہے اپنے ذمہ داری پر اختیار کر لے۔ یہ وہی بات ہے جو سورۂ دَھر میں فرمائی گئی ہے کہ” ہم نے انسان کو ایک مخلوط نطفے سے پیدا کیا تا کہ اس کا امتحال لیں اور اِس غرض کے لیے ہم نے اسے سننے اور دیکھنے والا بنایا۔ ہم نے اُسے راستہ دکھا دیا خواہ شکر کرنے والا بنے یا کفر کرنے والا“(آیات 3-2)۔ تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن، جلد ششم، الدھر، حواشی 3 تا 5۔
