Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اسی طرح اُن لوگوں پر بھی کوئی اعتراض کا موقع نہیں ہے جنہوں نے خود آکر تم سے درخواست کی تھی کہ ہمارے لیے سواریاں بہم پہنچائی جائیں ، اور جب تم نے کہا کہ میں تمہارے لیے سواریوں کا انتظام نہیں کر سکتا تو وہ مجبوراً واپس آگئے اور حال یہ تھا کہ ان کی آنکھوں سے آنسُو جاری تھے اور انہیں اس بات کا بڑا رنج تھا کہ وہ اپنے خرچ پر شریکِ جہاد ہونے کی مقدرت نہیں رکھتے۔1

  1. ایسے لوگ جو خدمت دین کے لیے بے تاب ہوں، اور اگر کسی حقیقی مجبوری کے سبب سے یا ذرائع نہ پانے کی وجہ سے عملًا خدمت نہ کرسکیں تو ان کے دل کو اتنا سخت صدمہ ہو جتنا کسی دنیا پرست کو روزگار چھوٹ جانے یا کسی بڑے نفع کے موقع سے محروم  رہ جانے کا ہوا کرتا ہے ، ان کا شمار خدا کےہاں خدمت انجام دینے والوں ہی میں ہو گا اگر چہ انہوں نے عملًا  کوئی خدمت انجام نہ دی ہو۔ اس لیے کہ وہ چاہے ہاتھ پاؤں سے کام نہ کر سکے ہوں ، لیکن دل سے  تو وہ  برسر خدمت ہی رہے ہیں۔ یہی بات ہے جو غزوہ ٔ تبوک سے واپسی پر اثنائے سفر میں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ ولم نے اپنے رفقا کو خطاب کرتے ہوئے فرمائی تھی کہ   ان بالمدینۃ اقوامًا ما سرتم مسیرا ولا قطعتم وادیا الا کانو ا معکم۔ ” مدینہ میں کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں کہ تم نے کوئی وادی طے نہیں کی اور کوئی کوچ نہیں کیا جس میں وہ تمہارے ساتھ ساتھ  نہ رہے ہوں“۔صحابہؓ نے تعجب  سے کہا” کیا مدینہ  ہی میں رہتے ہوئے؟“ فرمایا”ہاں، مدینے ہی میں رہتے ہوئے ۔ کیونکہ مجبوری نے انہیں روک لیا تھا ورنہ وہ خود رکنے والے نہ تھے“۔

اور نہ ہی ان پر (کوئی الزام ہے) جو آئے آپ ﷺ کے پاس کہ آپ ﷺ ان کے لیے سواری کا انتظام کردیں تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میرے پاس بھی کوئی چیز نہیں جس پر میں تم لوگوں کو سوار کرسکوں (تو مجبوراً) وہ لوٹ گئے اور ان کی آنکھوں سے آنسو جاری تھے اس رنج سے کہ ان کے پاس کچھ نہیں جسے وہ خرچ کرسکیں

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 9:92, 9:93)

آیت 92 وَّلاَ عَلَی الَّذِیْنَ اِذَا مَآ اَتَوْکَ لِتَحْمِلَہُمْ قُلْتَ لَآ اَجِدُ مَآ اَحْمِلُکُمْ عَلَیْہِ تَوَلَّوْا وَّاَعْیُنُہُمْ تَفِیْضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا اَلاَّ یَجِدُوْا مَا یُنْفِقُوْنَ یعنی وہ لوگ جو دل و جان سے چاہتے تھے کہ اس مہم میں شریک ہوں ‘ مگر وسائل کی کمی کی وجہ سے شرکت نہیں کر پا رہے تھے ‘ اپنی اس محرومی پر وہ واقعتا صدمے اور رنج و غم سے ہلکان ہو رہے تھے۔ ایک طرف ایسے مؤمنین صادقین تھے اور دوسری طرف وہ صاحب حیثیت اُولُوا الطَّوْلِ لوگ جن کے پاس سب کچھ موجود تھا ‘ وسائل و ذرائع کی کمی نہیں تھی ‘ تندرست و توانا تھے ‘ لیکن اس سب کچھ کے باوجود وہ اللہ کی راہ میں نکلنے کو تیار نہیں تھے۔
