جب کبھی کوئی سورۃ اس مضمون کی نازل ہوئی کہ اللہ کو مانو اور اس کے رسول کے ساتھ جہاد کرو تو تم نے دیکھا کہ جو لوگ ان میں سے صاحب مقدرت تھے وہی تم سے درخواست کرنے لگے کہ انہیں جہاد کی شرکت سے معاف رکھا جائے اور انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں چھوڑ دیجیے کہ ہم بیٹھنے والوں کے ساتھ رہیں

اور جب کوئی سورت نازل ہوتی ہے کہ ایمان لاؤ اللہ پر اور جہاد کرو اس کے رسول ﷺ کے ساتھ مل کر تو رخصت مانگتے ہیں آپ ﷺ سے مقدرت والے بھی اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں چھوڑدیجیے کہ ہم بیٹھ رہنے والوں میں شامل ہوجائیں

آیت 85 وَلاَ تُعْجِبْکَ اَمْوَالُہُمْ وَاَوْلاَدُہُمْ ط یعنی آپ ﷺ ان کے مال اور اولاد کو وقعت مت دیجیے۔ یہ آیت اسی سورت میں 55 نمبر پر معمولی فرق کے ساتھ پہلے بھی آچکی ہے۔
