Surah 9, ayah 8

  1. كَیْفَکس طرح
  2. وَاِنْاور اگر
  3. یَّظْهَرُوْاوہ غلبہ پاجائیں
  4. عَلَیْكُمْتم پر
  5. لَانہ
  6. یَرْقُبُوْالحاظ کریں
  7. فِیْكُمْتمہارے معاملے میں
  8. اِلًّاقرات کا
  9. وَّلَااور نہ
  10. ذِمَّةً ؕکسی معاہدے کا
  11. یُرْضُوْنَكُمْوہ راضی کرتے ہیں تم کو
  12. بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْاپنے مونہوں کے ساتھ
  13. وَتَاْبٰیاور انکار کرتے ہیں
  14. قُلُوْبُهُمْ ۚدل ان کے
  15. وَاَكْثَرُهُمْاور اکثر ان میں سے
  16. فٰسِقُوْنَفاسق ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

مگر اِن کے سوا دوسرے مشرکین کے ساتھ کوئی عہد کیسے ہو سکتا ہے جبکہ اُن کا حال یہ ہے کہ تم پر قابو پا جائیں تو نہ تمہارے معاملہ میں کسی قرابت کا لحاظ کریں نہ کسی معاہدہ کی ذمہ داری کا۔ وہ اپنی زبانوں سے تم کو راضی کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں مگر دِل ان کے انکار کرتے ہیں1 اور ان میں سے اکثر فاسق ہیں۔2

  1. یعنی بظاہر تو وہ صلح کی شرطیں طے کرتے ہیں مگر د ل میں بدعہدی کا ارادہ ہوتا ہے اور اس کا ثبوت تجربے سے اس طرح ملتا ہے کہ جب کبھی انہوں نے معاہدہ کیا توڑنے ہی کے لیے کیا۔

  2. یعنی ایسے لوگ ہیں جنہیں نہ اخلاقی ذمہ داریوں کا احساس ہے اور نہ اخلاق کی پابندیوں کے توڑنے میں کوئی باک۔

کیسے (کوئی معاہدہ قائم رہ سکتا ہے ان سے !) جبکہ اگر وہ تم پر غالب آجائیں تو ہرگز لحاظ نہیں کریں گے تمہارے بارے میں کسی قرابت کا اور نہ عہد کا جبکہ ان کے دل (اب بھی) انکاری ہیں اور ان کی اکثریت فاسقین پر مشتمل ہے

Commentary

آیت 8 کَیْفَ وَاِنْ یَّظْہَرُوْا عَلَیْکُمْ لاَ یَرْقُبُوْا فِیْکُمْ الاًّ وَّلاَ ذِمَّۃً ط ایسے لوگوں سے آخر کوئی معاہدہ کیوں کر قائم رہ سکتا ہے جن کا کردار یہ ہو کہ اگر وہ تم پر غلبہ حاصل کرلیں تو پھر نہ قرابت داری کا لحاظ کریں اور نہ معاہدے کے تقدس کا پاس۔ یُرْضُوْنَکُمْ بِاَفْوَاہِہِمْ راضی کرنا چاہتے ہیں تم لوگوں کو اپنے منہ کی باتوں سے اب وہ صلح کی تجدید کی خاطر آئے ہیں تو اس کے لیے بظاہر خوشامد اور چاپلوسی کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ اس طرح آپ لوگوں کو راضی کرلیں۔وَتَاْبٰی قُلُوْبُہُمْ ج وَاَکْثَرُہُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ جو باتیں وہ زبان سے کر رہے ہیں وہ ان کے دل کی آواز نہیں ہے۔ دل سے وہ ابھی بھی نیک نیتی کے ساتھ صلح پر آمادہ نہیں ہیں۔
