Surah 9, ayah 59

  1. وَلَوْاور اگر
  2. اَنَّهُمْبیشک وہ
  3. رَضُوْاوہ راضی ہوجائیں
  4. مَاۤجو
  5. اٰتٰىهُمُدیا ان کو
  6. اللّٰهُاللہ نے
  7. وَرَسُوْلُهٗ ۙاور اس کے رسول نے
  8. وَقَالُوْااور وہ کہیں
  9. حَسْبُنَاکافی ہے ہم کو
  10. اللّٰهُاللہ
  11. سَیُؤْتِیْنَاعنقریب دے گا ہم کو
  12. اللّٰهُاللہ
  13. مِنْسے
  14. فَضْلِهٖاپنے فضل (سے)
  15. وَرَسُوْلُهٗۤ ۙاور اس کا رسول
  16. اِنَّاۤبیشک ہم
  17. اِلَیطرف
  18. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  19. رٰغِبُوْنَرغبت کرنے والے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کیا اچھا ہو تا کہ اللہ اور رسول ؐ نے جو کچھ بھی انہیں دیا تھا اس پر وہ راضی رہتے1اور کہتے کہ ”اللہ ہمارے لیے کافی ہے، وہ اپنے فضل سے ہمیں اور بہت کچھ دے گا اور اس کا رسول بھی ہم پر عنایت فرمائے گا،2 ہم اللہ ہی کی طرف نظر جمائے ہوئے ہیں۔3“

  1. یعنی مال غنیمت میں دے جو حصہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کو دیتے ہیں اس پر قانع رہتے، اور خدا کے فضل سے جو کچھ یہ خود کماتے ہیں اور خدا کے دیے ہوئے ذرائع آمدنی سے جو خوشحالی انہیں میسر ہے اس کو اپنے لیے کافی سمجھتے۔

  2. یعنی زکوٰۃ کےعلاوہ جو اموال حکومت کے خزانے میں آئیں گے ان سے حسب استحقاق ہم لوگوں کو اسی طرح استفادہ کا موقع حاصل رہے گا جس طرح اب تک رہا ہے۔

  3. یعنی ہماری نظر دنیا اور اس  کی متاع حقیر پر نہیں بلکہ اللہ اور اس کے فضل و کرم پر ہے ۔ اسی کی خوشنودی ہم چاہتے ہیں ۔ اسی سے امید رکھتے ہین ۔ جو کچھ وہ دے اُس پر راضی ہیں۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور اگر وہ راضی رہتے اس پر جو کچھ دیا انہیں اللہ نے اور اس کے رسول ﷺ نے اور وہ کہتے کہ اللہ ہمارے لیے کافی ہے عنقریب اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ ہمیں (پھر بھی) اپنے فضل سے نوازتے رہیں گے یقیناً ہم اللہ کی طرف رغبت کرنے والے ہیں (تو ان کے حق میں بہتر ہوتا)

Commentary

آیت 59 وَلَوْ اَنَّہُمْ رَضُوْا مَآ اٰتٰٹہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَرَسُوْلُہٗلا وَقَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰہُ سَیُؤْتِیْنَا اللّٰہُ مِنْ فَضْلِہٖ وَرَسُوْلُہٗٓلا اِنَّآ اِلَی اللّٰہِ رٰغِبُوْنَ اگر ان لوگوں کی سوچ مثبت ہوتی اور وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول ﷺ کے بارے میں اچھا گمان رکھتے تو ان کے لیے بہترہوتا۔ اب وہ مشہور آیت آرہی ہے جس میں زکوٰۃ کے مصارف بیان ہوئے ہیں۔
