Surah 9, ayah 38

یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
الَّذِیْنَلوگو !
اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے ہو
مَاکیا ہے
لَكُمْتم کو
اِذَاجب
قِیْلَکہا گیا
لَكُمُتم سے
انْفِرُوْانکلو
فِیْمیں
سَبِیْلِراستے
اللّٰهِاللہ کے
اثَّاقَلْتُمْتم بوجھ سے جھگ گئے
اِلَیکی طرف
الْاَرْضِ ؕزمین (کی طرف)
اَرَضِیْتُمْکیا راضی ہوگئے تم
بِالْحَیٰوةِزندگی پر
الدُّنْیَادنیا کی
مِنَسے
الْاٰخِرَةِ ۚآخرت سے (مقابلے میں)
فَمَاتو نہیں
مَتَاعُسامان
الْحَیٰوةِزندگی کا
الدُّنْیَادنیا کی
فِیمیں
الْاٰخِرَةِآخرت (کے مقابلے میں)
اِلَّامگر
قَلِیْلٌبہت تھوڑا
۟

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

اے ایمان کے دعوے دارو ! تمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ جب تم سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ نکلو اللہ کی راہ میں تو تم دھنسے جاتے ہو زمین کی طرف (سوچو !) کیا تم نے آخرت کی بجائے دنیا کی زندگی کو قبول کرلیا ہے ؟ تو (جان لو کہ) دنیا کی زندگی کا سازو سامان آخرت کے مقابلے میں بہت قلیل ہے

Commentary

آیت 38 یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَا لَکُمْ اِذَا قِیْلَ لَکُمُ انْفِرُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ اثَّاقَلْتُمْ اِلَی الْاَرْضِ ط اگرچہ یہ وضاحت سورة النساء میں بھی ہوچکی ہے مگر اس نکتے کو دوبارہ ذہن نشین کرلیں کہ قرآن حکیم میں منافقین سے خطاب یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا کے صیغے میں ہی ہوتا ہے ‘ کیونکہ ایمان کا دعویٰ تو وہ بھی کرتے تھے اور قانونی اور ظاہری طور پر وہ بھی مسلمان تھے۔اَرَضِیْتُمْ بالْحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنْیَا مِنَ الْاٰخِرَۃِ ج یہ بھی ایک متجسسانہ سوال searching question ہے۔ یعنی تم دعویدار تو ہو ایمان بالآخرت کے ‘ لیکن اگر تم اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کے لیے نکلنے کو تیار نہیں ہو تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ تم آخرت ہاتھ سے دے کر دنیا کے خریدار بننے جا رہے ہو۔ تم آخرت کی نعمتوں کو چھوڑ کر دنیا کی زندگی پر خوش ہو بیٹھے ہو۔
