  1. یٰۤاَیُّهَااے
  2. الَّذِیْنَلوگو !
  3. اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے ہو
  4. لَانہ
  5. تَتَّخِذُوْۤاتم بناؤ
  6. اٰبَآءَكُمْاپنے باپوں کو
  7. وَاِخْوَانَكُمْاور اپنے بھائیوں کو
  8. اَوْلِیَآءَدوست
  9. اِنِاگر
  10. اسْتَحَبُّواوہ ترجیح دیں۔ زیادہ محبوب رکھیں
  11. الْكُفْرَکفر کو
  12. عَلَیپر
  13. الْاِیْمَانِ ؕایمان (پر)
  14. وَمَنْاور جو کوئی
  15. یَّتَوَلَّهُمْدوست بنائے گا ان کو
  16. مِّنْكُمْتم میں سے
  17. فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَتو یہی لوگ ہیں
  18. هُمُوہ
  19. الظّٰلِمُوْنَجو ظالم ہیں

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اپنے باپوں اور بھائیوں کو بھی اپنا رفیق نہ بناؤ اگر وہ ایمان پر کفر کو ترجیح دیں تم میں سے جو ان کو رفیق بنائیں گے وہی ظالم ہوں گے

Bayan-ul-Quran

اے اہل ایمان ! اپنے باپوں اور بھائیوں کو دلی دوست اور حمایتی مت بناؤ اگر انہوں نے ایمان کے مقابلے میں کفر کو پسند کیا ہے اور تم میں سے جو کوئی بھی ان کے ساتھ ولایت (دوستی) کا تعلق رکھیں گے تو ایسے لوگ (خود بھی) ظالم ٹھہریں گے

Commentary

آیت 23 یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوْٓا اٰبَآءَ کُمْ وَاِخْوَانَکُمْ اَوْلِیَآءَ اِنِ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْکُفْرَ عَلَی الْاِیْمَانِ ط اگر اب بھی تمہارے دلوں میں اپنے کافر اقرباء کے لیے محبت موجود ہے تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ پھر ایمان کے ساتھ تمہارا رشتہ مضبوط نہیں ہے۔ اللہ ‘ اس کے دین اور توحید کے لیے تمہارے جذبات میں غیرت وحمیت نہیں ہے۔ وَمَنْ یَّتَوَلَّہُمْ مِّنْکُمْ فَاُولٰٓءِکَ ہُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ اب وہ آیت آرہی ہے جو اس موضوع پر قرآن کریم کی اہم ترین آیت ہے۔
