آیت 12 وَاِنْ نَّکَثُوْٓا اَیْمَانَہُمْ مِّنْم بَعْدِ عَہْدِہِمْ وَطَعَنُوْا فِیْ دِیْنِکُمْ فَقَاتِلُوْٓا اَءِمَّۃَ الْکُفْرِلا اِنَّہُمْ لَآ اَیْمَانَ لَہُمْ یہ بہت اہم اور قابل توجہ نکتہ ہے۔ جزیرہ نمائے عرب کے اندر کافر اور مشرک تو بہت تھے مگر یہاں خصوصی طور پر کفر اور شرک کے پیشواؤں سے جنگ کرنے کا حکم دیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ ائمّۃ الکفر کفر کے امام قریش تھے۔ وہ کعبہ کے متولی اور تمام قبائل کے بتوں کے مجاور تھے۔ دوسری طرف سیاسی ‘ معاشرتی اور معاشی لحاظ سے مکہ کو اُمّ القریٰ کی حیثیت حاصل تھی اور وہ ان کے زیر تسلط تھا۔ اس وقت اگرچہ جزیرہ نمائے عرب میں نہ کوئی مرکزی حکومت تھی اور نہ ہی کوئی باقاعدہ مرکزی دارالحکومت تھا ‘ مگر پھر بھی اس پورے خطے کا مرکزی شہر اور معنوی صدر مقام مکہ ہی تھا ‘ اور اس مرکزی شہر اور اُمّ القریٰ میں واقع اللہ کے گھر کو قریش نے شرک کا اڈا بنایا ہوا تھا۔ اس لیے جب تک ان کو شکست دے کر مکہ کو کفر اور شرک سے پاک نہ کردیا جاتا ‘ جزیرہ نمائے عرب کے اندر دین کے غلبے کا تصور نہیں کیا جاسکتا تھا۔ اس لیے یہاں فَقَاتِلُوْٓا اَءِمَّۃَ الْکُفْرِ کا واضح حکم دیا گیا ہے ‘ کہ جب تک کفر کے ان سرغنوں کا سر نہیں کچلاجائے گا اور شرک کے اس مرکزی اڈے کو ختم نہیں کیا جائے گا اس وقت تک سرزمین عرب میں دین کے کلی غلبے کی راہ ہموار نہیں ہوگی۔ لَعَلَّہُمْ یَنْتَہُوْنَ یعنی ان پر سختی کی جائے گی تو شاید باز آجائیں گے ‘ نرمی سے یہ ماننے والے نہیں ہیں۔
