  22. تَابَوہ مہربان ہوا
  23. عَلَیْهِمْ ؕان پر
  24. اِنَّهٗبیشک وہ
  25. بِهِمْساتھ ان کے
  26. رَءُوْفٌشفقت کرنے والا
  27. رَّحِیْمٌمہربان ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اللہ نے معاف کر دیا نبی کو اور اُن مہاجرین و انصار کو جنہوں نے بڑی تنگی کے وقت میں نبی ؐ کا ساتھ دیا۔1 اگرچہ اُن میں سے کچھ لوگوں کے دل کَجی کی طرف مائل ہو چلے تھے،2 (مگر جب اُنہوں نے اُس کجی کا اتباع نہ کیا بلکہ نبی ؐ کا ساتھ ہی دیا تو ) اللہ نے اُنہیں معاف کر دیا3 ، بےشک اُس کا معاملہ ان لوگوں کے ساتھ شفقت و مہربانی کا ہے

  1. یعنی غزوۂ تبوک کے سلسلہ میں جو چھوٹی چھوٹی لغزشیں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے صحابہ سے ہوئیں ان سب کو اللہ نے ان کی اعلیٰ خدمات کا لحاظ کرتے ہوئے معاف فرما دیا۔ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے جو لغزش ہوئی تھی اس کا ذکر آیت 43 میں گزر چکا ہے ، یعنی یہ کہ جن لوگوں نے استطاعت رکھنے کے باوجود جنگ سے پیچھے رہ جانے کی اجازت مانگی تھی ان کو آپ ؐ نے  اجادت دے دی تھی۔

  2. یعنی بعض مخلص صحابہ بھی اس سخت وقت میں جنگ پر جانے سے کسی نہ کسی حد تک جی چرانے لگے تھے، مگر چونکہ ان کے دلوں میں ایمان تھا اور وہ سچے  دل سے دینِ حق کے ساتھ محبت رکھتے تھے اس لیے آخر کار وہ اپنی اس کمزوری پر غالب آگئے۔

  3. یعنی اب اللہ اس بات پر ان سے مؤاخذہ نہ کرے گا کہ ان کے دلوں میں کجی کی طرف یہ میلان کیوں پیدا ہوا تھا۔ اس لیے کہ اللہ اُس کمزوری پر گرفت  نہیں کرتا جس کی انسان نے خود اصلاح کر لی ہو۔

اللہ مہربان ہوا نبی ﷺ پر اور مہاجرین و انصار پر بھی جنہوں نے آپ کا اتباع کیا (ساتھ دیا) مشکل وقت میں اس کے بعد کہ ان میں سے ایک گروہ کے دل میں کچھ کجی آنے لگی تھی پھرا للہ نے ان پر نظر رحمت فرمائی۔ یقیناً وہ ان کے حق میں بہت مہربان رحم فرمانے والا ہے

Commentary

آیت 117 لَقَدْ تَّابَ اللہ عَلَی النَّبِیِّ وَالْمُہٰجِرِیْنَ وَالْاَنْصَارِ الَّذِیْنَ اتَّبَعُوْہُ فِیْ سَاعَۃِ الْعُسْرَۃِ یہ تبوک کی مہم کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔ تاریخ میں یہ مہم جیش العسرۃ کے نام سے مشہور ہے۔ یہ وہ زمانہ تھا جب خشک سالی کے باعث مدینہ میں قحط کا سماں تھا۔ ان حالات میں اتنے بڑے لشکر کا اتنی لمبی مسافت پر وقت کی سپر پاور سے نبرد آزما ہونے کے لیے جانا واقعی بہت بڑی آزمائش تھی۔ جو لوگ اس آزمائش میں ثابت قدم رہے ‘ یہ ان کے لیے رحمت و شفقت کا ایک اعلان عام ہے۔مِنْم بَعْدِ مَا کَادَ یَزِیْغُ قُلُوْبُ فَرِیْقٍ مِّنْہُمْ بر بنائے طبع بشری کہیں نہ کہیں ‘ کبھی نہ کبھی انسان میں کچھ کمزوری آ ہی جاتی ہے۔ جیسے غزوۂ احد میں بھی دو مسلمان قبائل بنو حارثہ اور بنو سلمہ کے لوگوں کے دلوں میں عارضی طور پر تھوڑی سے کمزوری آگئی تھی۔
