Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

رہا  وہ شخص جس کا  نامہٴ اعمال اُس کی پیٹھ کے پیچھے دیا جائے گا1

  1. سورہ اَلْحَاقّہ میں فرمایاگیا ہے کہ جس کا نامہ اعمال اس کے بائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا ۔ اور یہاں ارشاد ہوا ہے اُ س کی پیٹھ کے پیچھے دیا جائے گا۔ غالبًا اِ س کی صورت یہ ہوگی کہ وہ شخص اِ س بات سے تو پہلے ہی مایوس ہوگا کہ اُسے دائیں ہاتھ میں نامہ اعمال ملے گا، کیونکہ اپنے کرتوتوں سے وہ خوب واقف ہوگا اور اسے یقین ہوگا کہ مجھے نامہ اعمال بائیں ہاتھ میں ملنے والا ہے ۔ البتہ سار ی خلقت کے سامنے بائیں  ہاتھ میں نامہ اعمال لیتے ہوئے اُسےخِفّت محسوس ہوگی، اس لیے وہ اپنا ہاتھ پیچھے کر لے گا۔ مگر اِس تدابیر سے یہ ممکن نہ ہوگا کہ وہ اپنا کچّا چٹھا اپنے ہاتھ میں لینے سے بچ جائے۔ وہ تو بہر حال اسے پکڑا یا ہی جائے گا خواہ وہ ہاتھ آگے بڑھا کر لے یا پیٹھ کے پیچھے چھپالے۔

اور جس کو دیا جائے گا اس کا اعمالنامہ اس کی پیٹھ کے پیچھے سے۔

Commentary

آیت 10{ وَاَمَّا مَنْ اُوْتِیَ کِتٰـبَہٗ وَرَآئَ ظَہْرِہٖ۔ } ”اور جس کو دیا جائے گا اس کا اعمالنامہ اس کی پیٹھ کے پیچھے سے۔“ قرآن کریم کی اکثر آیات میں ایسے لوگوں کو بائیں ہاتھ میں اعمالنامے دیے جانے کا ذکر ہے۔ اس سیاق وسباق میں یہاں وَرَآئَ ظَہْرِہٖ کے الفاظ سے یوں لگتا ہے کہ فرشتہ ایک مجرم شخص کو جب اس کا اعمالنامہ پکڑانے لگے گا تو وہ اس سے بچنے کے لیے اپنا بایاں ہاتھ اپنی کمر کے پیچھے چھپالے گا۔ چناچہ اسی حالت میں اعمالنامہ پیچھے سے اس کے بائیں ہاتھ میں تھما دیا جائے گا۔
