  1. وَاِذَااور جب
  2. كَالُوْهُمْناپ کر ان کو دیتے ہیں
  3. اَوْیا
  4. وَّزَنُوْهُمْوزن کرکے دیتے ہیں ان کو
  5. یُخْسِرُوْنَگھاٹا کرکے دیتے ہیں/ کم کرکے دیتے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور جب ان کو ناپ کو یا تول کر دیتے ہیں تو انہیں گھاٹا دیتے ہیں۔1

  1. قرآن مجید میں جگہ جگہ ناپ تول میں کمی کرنے کی سخت مُذمّت اور صحیح ناپنے اور تولنے کی سخت تاکید کی گئی ہے ۔ سورہ انعام میں فرمایا”انصاف کے ساتھ پورا ناپو اور تولو، ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی مقدرت سے زیادہ کا مکلّف نہیں ٹھیراتے“(آیت152)۔ سورہ بنی اسرائیل میں ارشاد ہوا” جب ناپو تو پورا ناپو اور صحیح ترازو سے تولو“(آیت25)۔ سورہ رحمان میں تاکید کی گئی کہ ”تولنے میں زیادتی نہ کرو، ٹھیک ٹھیک انصاف کے ساتھ وزن کرو اور ترازو میں گھاٹا نہ دو“(آیات8۔9)۔ قوم ِ شعیب پر جس جرم کی وجہ سے عذاب نازل ہوا وہ یہی تھا کہ اُس کے اندر ناپ تول میں کمی کرنے کا مرض عام طور پر پھیلا ہوا تھا اور حضرت شعیب کی پے در پے نصیحتوں کے با وجود یہ قوم اِس جرم سے باز نہ آتی تھی۔
