Surah 83, ayah 14

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہر گز نہیں، بلکہ دراصل اِن لوگوں کے دلوں پر اِن کے بُرے اعمال کا زنگ چڑھ گیا ہے۔1

  1. یعنی جزا وسزا کو افسانہ قرار دینے کی کوئی معقول وجہ نہیں ہے ، لیکن جس وجہ سے یہ لوگ اسے افسانہ کہتے ہیں وہ یہ ہے کہ جن گناہوں کا یہ ارتکاب کرتے رہے ہیں ان کا زنگ اِن کے دلوں  پر پوری طرح چڑھ گیا ہے اس لیے جو بات سراسر معقول ہے وہ اِن کو افسانہ نظر آتی ہے۔ اِس زنگ کی تشریح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یوں فرمائی ہے کہ بندہ جب کوئی گناہ کرتا ہے تو اُس کے دل پر ایک سیاہ نقطہ لگ جاتا ہے۔ اگر وہ توبہ کر لے تو وہ نقطہ صاف ہو جاتا ہے، لیکن اگر وہ گناہوں کا ارتکاب کرتا ہی چلا جائے تو پورے دل پر وہ چھا جاتا ہے(مسند احمد،ترمذی، نسائی، ابن ماجہ، ابن جریر، حاکم، ابن ابی حاتم، ابن حِبّان وغیرہ)۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

نہیں ! بلکہ (اصل صورت حال یہ ہے کہ) ان کے دلوں پر زنگ آگیا ہے ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے۔

Commentary

آیت 14{ کَلَّا بَلْ سکتۃ رَانَ عَلٰی قُلُوْبِہِمْ مَّا کَانُوْا یَکْسِبُوْنَ۔ } ”نہیں ! بلکہ اصل صورت حال یہ ہے کہ ان کے دلوں پر زنگ آگیا ہے ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے۔“ اس ’ زنگ ‘ کی تشریح رسول اللہ ﷺ نے یوں فرمائی ہے کہ ”بندہ جب کوئی گناہ کرتا ہے تو اس کے دل پر ایک سیاہ نقطہ لگ جاتا ہے۔ اگر وہ توبہ کرلے ‘ اس گناہ سے باز آجائے اور استغفار کرے تو اس کے دل کا یہ داغ صاف ہوجاتا ہے ‘ لیکن اگر وہ گناہوں کا ارتکاب کرتا ہی چلا جائے تو وہ داغ بڑھتے جاتے ہیں ‘ یہاں تک کہ سارے دل کو گھیر لیتے ہیں۔“ مسند احمد ‘ ترمذی ‘ نسائی ‘ ابن ماجہ وغیرہ گناہگار اہل ِایمان کے دلوں کے اندر ان کی روحوں کا ”نور“ تو موجود ہوتا ہے لیکن دلوں کے ”شیشے“ زنگ آلود ہوجانے کی وجہ سے یہ نور خارج میں اپنے اثرات نہیں دکھا سکتا۔ جیسے کسی فانوس یا لالٹین کا شیشہ اگر دھوئیں سے سیاہ ہوجائے تو اس کے اندر جلنے والے شعلے کی روشنی باہر نہیں آسکتی اور باہر کی روشنی اندر نہیں جاسکتی۔ انسانی دل کی اس کیفیت کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے حضور ﷺ نے اس کا علاج بھی تجویز فرمادیا۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر - روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آنحضور ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : اِنَّ ھٰذِہِ الْقُلُوْبَ تَصْدَأُ کَمَا یَصْدَأُ الْحَدِیْدُ اِذَا اَصَابَہُ الْمَائُ قِیْلَ : یَارَسُوْلَ اللّٰہِ وَمَا جِلَائُ ھَا ؟ قَالَ : کَثْرَۃُ ذِکْرِ الْمَوْتِ وَتِلَاوَۃُ الْقُرْآنِ 1”ان دلوں کو بھی زنگ لگ جاتا ہے جیسے لوہا پانی پڑنے سے زنگ آلود ہوجاتا ہے“۔ دریافت کیا گیا : یارسول اللہ ! اس زنگ کو دور کس چیز سے کیا جائے ؟ فرمایا : ”موت کی بکثرت یاد اور قرآن مجید کی تلاوت !“
