سورہ تکویر میں فرمایا گیا ہے کہ سمندروں میں آگ بھڑکا دی جائے گی، اور یہاں فرمایا گیا ہے کہ سمندروں کو پھاڑ دیا جائےگا۔ دونوں آیتوں کو ملا کر دیکھا جائے اور یہ بات بھی نگاہ میں رکھی جائے کہ قرآن کی رو سے قیامت کے روز ایک ایسا زبردست زلزلہ آئے گا جو کسی علاقے تک محدود نہ ہوگا بالکل پوری زمین بیک وقت ہلا ماری جائے گی، تو سمندروں کے پھٹنے اور ان میں آگ بھڑک اٹھنے کی کیفیت ہماری سمجھ میں یہ آتی ہے کہ پہلے اُس عظیم زلزلے کی وجہ سے سمندروں کی تہہ پھٹ جائے گی اور ان کا پانی زمین کے اس اندرونی حصے میں اُترنے لگے گا جہاں ہر وقت ایک بے انتہا گرم لاوا کھولتا رہتا ہے۔ پھر اس لاوے تک پہنچ کر پانی اپنے ان دو بتدائی اجزا کی شکل میں تحلیل ہو جائے گا جن میں سے ایک ، یعنی آکسیجن جلانے والی، اور دوسری ، یعنی ہائیڈروجن بھڑک اٹھنے والی ہے ، اور یوں تحلیل اور آتش آفروزی کا ایک ایسا مسلسل ردعمل(Chain Reaction ) شروع ہو جائے گا جس سے دنیا کے تمام سمندروں میں آگ لگ جائے گی۔ یہ ہمارا قیاس ہے ، باقی سہی علم اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی کو نہیں ہے۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 81:29, 82:1, 82:2, 82:3, 82:4)
آیت 29 { وَمَا تَشَآئُ وْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْ یَّشَآئَ اللّٰہُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ۔ } ”اور تمہارے چاہے بھی کچھ نہیں ہوسکتا جب تک کہ اللہ نہ چاہے جو تمام جہانوں کا ربّ ہے۔“ یہ مضمون قرآن میں بہت تکرار کے ساتھ آیا ہے ‘ یعنی کسی انسان کو ہدایت تبھی ملے گی جب وہ خود بھی اس کے لیے ارادہ کرے اور پھر اللہ بھی اسے ہدایت دینا چاہے۔ ظاہر ہے ہر کام اللہ ہی کے اذن اور اسی کی توفیق سے ہوتا ہے۔ لیکن ہدایت کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ کی توفیق کے ساتھ انسان کی اپنی خواہش اور طلب کا شامل ہونا بہت ضروری ہے ‘ کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ زبردستی کسی پر ہدایت مسلط نہیں کرتا۔ اگر ایسا ہو تو پھر سزا اور جزا کا سارا فلسفہ ہی غلط ہوجاتا ہے۔
