- وَاَعِدُّوْااور تیار رکھو
- لَهُمْان کے لیے
- مَّاجو
- اسْتَطَعْتُمْاستطاعت رکھتے ہو تم
- مِّنْسے
- قُوَّةٍقوت میں سے
- وَّمِنْاور سے
- رِّبَاطِباندھنے میں سے
- الْخَیْلِگھوڑے
- تُرْهِبُوْنَتم ڈراتے ہو
- بِهٖساتھ اس کے
- عَدُوَّدشمنوں کو
- اللّٰهِاللہ کے
- وَعَدُوَّكُمْاور اپنے دشمنوں کو
- وَاٰخَرِیْنَاور کچھ دوسروں کو
- مِنْکے
- دُوْنِهِمْ ۚان کے علاوہ
- لَانہیں
- تَعْلَمُوْنَهُمْ ۚتم جانتے ان کو
- اَللّٰهُاللہ
- یَعْلَمُهُمْ ؕجانتا ہے ان کو
- وَمَااور جو تم
- تُنْفِقُوْاخرچ کرو گے
- مِنْکوئی
- شَیْءٍچیز۔ کچھ بھی
- فِیْمیں
- سَبِیْلِراستے میں
- اللّٰهِاللہ کے
- یُوَفَّپھر پورا پورا دیاجائے گا
- اِلَیْكُمْتمہیں
- وَاَنْتُمْاور تم
- لَانہ
- تُظْلَمُوْنَظلم کیے جاؤ گے

Tafheem-ul-Quran
اور تم لوگ ، جہاں تک تمہارا بس چلے، زیادہ سے زیادہ طاقت اور تیار بندھے رہنے والے گھوڑے اُن کے مقابلہ کے لیے مہیّا رکھو1تاکہ اس کے ذریعہ سے اللہ کے اپنے دشمنوں کو اور ان دوسرے اعداء کو خوف زدہ کر دو جنہیں تم نہیں جانتے مگر اللہ جانتا ہے۔ اللہ کی راہ میں جو کچھ تم خرچ کرو گے اس کا پورا پورا بدل تمہاری طرف پلٹایا جائے گا اور تمہارے ساتھ ہر گز ظلم نہ ہو گا

اس سے مطلب یہ ہے کہ تمہارے پاس سامان ِ جنگ اور ایک مستقل فوج(Standing army ) ہر وقت تیار رہنی چاہیے تاکہ بوقت ضرورت فوراً جنگی کاروائی کر سکو۔ یہ نہ ہو کہ خطرہ سر پر آنے کے بعد گھبراہٹ میں جلدی جلدی رضا کار اور اسلحہ اور سامان رسد جمع کرنے کی کوشش کی جائے اور اس اثنا میں کہ یہ تیاری مکمل ہو، دشمن اپنا کام کر جائے۔
