- وَاِذْاور جب
- یُرِیْكُمُوْهُمْوہ دکھا رہا تھا تمہیں ان کو
- اِذِاس وقت جب
- الْتَقَیْتُمْتم ملے (ان کو)
- فِیْۤمیں
- اَعْیُنِكُمْتمہاری نگاہوں میں
- قَلِیْلًاتھوڑا کم
- وَّیُقَلِّلُكُمْاور تم کو دکھا رہا تھا
- فِیْۤمیں
- اَعْیُنِهِمْان کی نگاہوں میں
- لِیَقْضِیَتاکہ پورا کردے
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- اَمْرًااس کام کو
- كَانَجو ہو

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور جب تم آمنے سامنے ہوئے تو تمہاری نظروں میں انہیں (کفار کو) تھوڑا کر کے دکھاتا تھا اور ان کی نظروں میں تمہیں تھوڑا کر کے دکھاتا تھا تاکہ اللہ پورا کر دے اس معاملے کو جو ہونے والا ہی تھا۔ اور تمام معاملات (بالآخر تو) اللہ ہی کی طرف لوٹا دیے جائیں گے

Commentary
آیت 44 وَاِذْ یُرِیْکُمُوْہُمْ اِذِ الْتَقَیْتُمْ فِیْٓ اَعْیُنِکُمْ قَلِیْلاً وَّیُقَلِّلُکُمْ فِیْٓ اَعْیُنِہِمْ جب دونوں لشکر مقابلے کے لیے آمنے سامنے ہوئے تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایسی کیفیت پیدا کردی کہ مسلمانوں کو بھی دیکھنے میں کفار تھوڑے لگ رہے تھے اور کفار کو بھی مسلمان تھوڑے نظر آ رہے تھے۔ ایسی صورت حال اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس لیے پیدا فرما دی تاکہ یہ جنگ ڈٹ کر ہو۔ اس لیے کہ وہ اس دن کو یوم الفرقان بنانا چاہتا تھا اور نہیں چاہتا تھا کہ کوئی فریق بھی میدان سے کنی کترائے۔
