- وَقَاتِلُوْهُمْاور جنگ کرو ان سے
- حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
- لَانہ
- تَكُوْنَرہے
- فِتْنَةٌکوئی فتنہ
- وَّیَكُوْنَاور ہوجائے
- الدِّیْنُدین
- كُلُّهٗسارے کا سارا
- لِلّٰهِ ۚاللہ کے لیے
- فَاِنِپھر اگر
- انْتَهَوْاوہ باز آجائیں
- فَاِنَّتو بیشک
- اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
- بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو
- یَعْمَلُوْنَوہ عمل کرتے ہیں
- بَصِیْرٌدیکھنے والا ہے

Tafheem-ul-Quran
اے ایمان لانے والو، ان کافروں سے جنگ کرو یہاں تک کہ فتنہ باقی نہ رہےاور دین پورا کا پورا اللہ کے لیے ہو جائے۔1 پھر اگر وہ فتنہ سے رُک جائیں تو اُن کے اعمال کا دیکھنے والا اللہ ہے

یہاں پھر مسلمانوں کی جنگ کے اُسے ایک مقصد کا اعادہ کیا گیا ہے جو اس سے پہلے سورة بقرۃ آیت 193 میں بیان کیا گیا تھا۔ اس مقصد کا سلبی جزے یہ ہے کہ فتنہ باقی رہ رہے، اور ابجابی جزء یہ کہ دین بالکل اللہ کے لیے ہو جائے بس یہی ایک اخلاقی مقصد ایسا ہے جس کے لیے لڑنا اہل ایمان کے لیے جائز بلکہ فرض ہے۔ اس کے سوا کسی دوسرے مقصد کی لڑائی جائزنہیں ہے اور نہ اہل ایمان کو زیبا ہے کہ اُس میں کسی طرح حصہ لیں ۔(تشریح کے یے ملاحظہ ہو سورہ بقرہ، حواشی 2۰4 و 2۰5)
