اور نہ اُنہیں موقع دیا جائے گا کہ کوئی عُذر پیش کریں۔1

یہ اُن کی آخری حالت ہو گی جو جہنم میں داخلہ کے وقت اُ ن پر طاری ہو گی۔ اُس سے پہلے میدانِ حشر میں تو یہ لوگ بہت کچھ کہیں گے، بہت سی معذرتیں پیش کریں گے، ایک دوسرے پر اپنے قصوروں کا الزام ڈال کر خود بے قُصور بننے کی کوشش کریں گے ، اپنے گمراہ کرنے والے سرداروں اور پیشواؤں کو گالیاں دیں گے، حتیٰ کہ بعض لوگ پوری ڈِھٹائی کے ساتھ اپنے جرائم کا انکار تک کر گزریں گے، جیسا کہ قرآن مجید میں متعدد مقامات پر بیان ہوا ہے۔ مگر جب تمام شہادتوں سے اُن کا مجرم ہونا پُوری طرح ثابت کر دیا جائے گا، اور جب ان کے اپنے ہاتھ پاؤں اور اُن کے اعضاء تک اُن کے خلاف گواہی دے کر ثبوتِ جرم میں کوئی کسر نہ چھوڑیں گے، اور جب بالکل بجا اور بر حق طریقے سے عدل و انصاف کے تمام تقاضے پورے کر کے انہیں سزا سنادی جائے گی تو وہ دم بخود رہ جائیں گے اور ان کے لیے اپنی معذرت میں کچھ کہنے کی گنجائش باقی نہ رہے گی۔ عذر پیش کرنے کا موقع نہ دینے یا اس کی اجازت نہ دینے کا مطلب یہ نہیں ہے کہ صفائی کا موقع دیے بغیر ان کے خلاف فیصلہ صادر کر دیا جائے گا۔ بلکہ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ ان کا جرم اِس طرح قطعی ناقابلِ انکار حد تک ثابت کر دیا جائے گا کہ وہ اپنی معذرت میں کچھ نہ کہہ سکیں گے۔ یہ ایسا ہی ہے جیسے ہم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے اُس کو بولنے نہیں دیا، میں نے اس کی زبان بند کردی، او راس کا مطلب یہ ہوتا ہے کہ میں نے اس پر ایسی حجّت تمام کی کہ اُس کےلیے زبا ن کھولنے یا کچھ بولنے کا کوئی موقع باقی نہ رہا ۔

آیت 30{ اِنْطَلِقُوْٓا اِلٰی ظِلٍّ ذِیْ ثَلٰثِ شُعَبٍ۔ } ”چلو اس تین شاخوں والے سائے کی طرف !“ میدانِ محشر کی چلچلاتی دھوپ اور شدید گرمی میں جب وہ لوگ جہنم کو دیکھیں گے تو دور سے وہ انہیں تین اطراف میں پھیلے ہوئے سائے والی کسی جگہ کی طرح نظرآئے گی۔ چناچہ انہیں کہا جائے گا کہ اگر تمہیں وہ سایہ نظر آتا ہے تو چلو اس سائے کی طرف ! لیکن اس ”سائے“ کی حقیقت یہ ہوگی کہ :
