پھر اُنہی کے پیچھے ہم بعد والوں کو چلتا کریں گے۔1

یہاں فقرہ اس معنی میں ارشاد ہوا ہے کہ دنیا میں اُن کا جو انجام ہوا ہے یا آئندہ ہوگا وہ اُن کی اصل سزا نہیں ہے، بلکہ اصلی تباہی تو اُن پر فیصلے کے دن نازل ہو گی۔ یہاں کی پکڑ تو صرف یہ حیثیت رکھتی ہے کہ جب کوئی شخص مسلسل جرائم کرتا چلا جائے اور کسی طرح اپنی بگڑی ہوئی روش سے باز نہ آئے تو آخر کار اسے گرفتار کر لیا جائے۔ عدالت، جہاں اس کے مقدمے کا فیصلہ ہونا ہے اور اسے اس کے تمام کر توتوں کی سز ا دی جانی ہے، اس دنیا میں قائم نہیں ہوگی بلکہ آخرت میں ہوگی، اور وہی اُس کی تباہی کا اصل دن ہوگا۔ (مزید تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن جلددوم، الاعراف، حواشی5۔۶۔ ہود ، حاشیہ1،5)۔

آیت 17{ ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُہُمُ الْاٰخِرِیْنَ۔ } ”پھر ہم ان کے پیچھے لگاتے رہے بعد میں آنے والوں کو۔“ اس سے نوع انسانی کی مختلف نسلوں کا یکے بعد دیگرے معمول کے مطابق دنیا میں آنا بھی مراد ہے اور ایک قوم کی تباہی کے بعد اس کی جگہ دوسری قوم کا اٹھایا جانا بھی۔ جیسے قوم نوح علیہ السلام کی ہلاکت کے بعد قوم عاد اور قوم عاد کی بربادی کے بعد قوم ثمود کو پیدا کیا گیا۔
