یہ آخرت کے حق میں تاریخی استدلال ہے۔ مطلب یہ ہے کہ خود اِسی دنیا میں اپنی تاریخ کو دیکھ لو۔ جن قوموں نے بھی آخرت کا انکار کر کے اِسی دنیا کو اصل زندگی سمجھا اور اسی دنیا میں ظاہر ہونے والے نتائج کو خیر و شر کا معیار سمجھ کر اپنا اخلاقی رویّہ متعیّن کیا، بلا استثناء وہ سب آخر کار تباہ ہو کر رہیں۔ یہ اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ آخرت فی الواقع ایک حقیقت ہے جسے نظر انداز کر کے کام کرنے والا اُسی طرح نقصان اٹھاتا ہے جس طرح ہر اُس شخص کو نقصان اٹھا نا پڑتا ہے جو حقائق سے آنکھیں بند کر کے چلے۔(مزید تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن جلد دوم،یونس،حا شیہ12۔جدل سوم، النمل، حاشیہ 8۶۔ الرّوم، حاشیہ8۔جلدچہارم، سبا، حا شیہ25)۔
