  1. عَیْنًاایک چشمہ ہوگا
  2. فِیْهَااس میں
  3. تُسَمّٰینام رکھا جائے گا۔ نام دیا گیا ہے وہ
  4. سَلْسَبِیْلًاسلسبیل

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ جنّت کا ایک چشمہ ہوگا جسے سلسبیل کہا جاتا ہے۔1

  1. اہلِ عرب چونکہ شراب کے ساتھ سُونٹھ ملے ہوئے پانی کی آمیزش کو پسند کرتے تھے، اس لیے فرمایاگیا کہ وہاں اُن و ہ شراب پلائی جائے گی جس میں سونٹھ کی آمیزش ہوگی۔ لیکن اس آمیزش کی صورت یہ نہ  ہوگی یہ اس کے اندر سونٹھ ملا کر پانی ڈالا جائے گا، بلکہ یہ ایک قدرتی چشمہ ہوگا جس میں سونٹھ کی خوشبو تو ہوگی مگر اس کی تلخی نہ ہوگی، اس لیے اُس کا نام سلسبیل ہوگا۔سلسبیل سے مراد ایسا پانی ہے جو میٹھا، ہلکا اور خوش ذائقہ ہونے کی بنا پر حلق سے بسہولت گزر جائے۔ مفسرین کی اکثریت کا خیال یہ ہے کہ یہاں سلسبیل کا لفظ اُس چشمے کےلیے بطورِ صفت استعمال ہوا ہے نہ کہ بطورِ اسم۔
