Commentary
آیت 6{ وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَکْثِرُ۔ } ”اور زیادہ لینے کے لیے کسی پر احسان نہ کیجیے۔“ اس آیت کا عام اور معروف مفہوم تو یہی ہے کہ کسی پر احسان کرتے ہوئے بدلے کی توقع نہ رکھو ‘ بلکہ احسان برائے احسان کرو۔ لیکن مجھے ذاتی طور پر اس آیت کا وہ ترجمہ پسند ہے جو مولانا اصلاحی صاحب نے کیا ہے : ”اور اپنی سعی کو زیادہ خیال کر کے منقطع نہ کر !“ مَنَّ یَمُنُّ مَنًّا کے معانی احسان کرنا اور احسان جتلانا کے علاوہ توڑنے اور کاٹنے کے بھی ہیں۔ اصلاحی صاحب نے اپنے ترجمے میں اسی معنی کو اپنایا ہے۔ چناچہ اس معنی میں آیت کا مفہوم یہ ہوگا کہ اے نبی ﷺ ! آپ اپنے فرضِ منصبی سے متعلق جدوجہد کو منقطع نہ کرنا ‘ یقینا آپ ﷺ کی اس دعوت کے بڑے بڑے نتائج نکلیں گے۔ کچھ عرصے تک آپ ﷺ کو انتظار تو ضرور کرنا پڑے گا لیکن بالآخر آپ ﷺ کی تحریک کامیاب ہوگی اور آپ ﷺ کو ڈھیروں کامیابیاں ملیں گی۔
