اس کے دو مطلب ہو سکتے ہیں ۔ ایک یہ کہ جو شخص بھی اس میں ڈالا جائے گا اسے وہ جلا کر خاک کر دے گی مگر مر کر بھی اس کا پیچھا نہ چھوٹے گا بلکہ وہ پھر زندہ کیا جائےگا اور پھر جلا یا جائے گا۔ اسی مضمون کو دوسری جگہ اس طرح ادا کیا گیا ہے کہ لاَ یَمُوْتُ فِیْھَا وَلاَ یَحْیٰی”وہ نہ اس میں مرے گا نہ جیے گیا“(الاعلیٰ۔13)۔ دوسرا مطلب یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ وہ عذاب کے مستحقین میں سے کسی کو باقی نہ رہنے دیگی جو اُس کی گرفت میں آئے بغیر رہ جائے، اور جو بھی اس کی گرفت میں آئے گا اسے عذاب دیے بغیر نہ چھوڑے گی۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 74:25, 74:26, 74:27, 74:28)
آیت 25{ اِنْ ہٰذَآ اِلَّا قَوْلُ الْبَشَرِ۔ } ”یہ نہیں ہے مگر انسان کا کلام۔“ یعنی اس کلام میں جادو کا سا اثر تو ہے ‘ لیکن محمد ﷺ کا یہ دعویٰ کہ یہ اللہ کا کلام ہے اسے میں نہیں مانتا۔ میں تو یہی سمجھتا ہوں کہ یہ انسانی کلام ہی ہے۔۔۔۔ اب اگلی آیات کو پڑھنے سے یوں محسوس ہوتا ہے جیسے اس نے حق کو پہچانتے ہوئے جھٹلا کر اللہ تعالیٰ کے غضب کو دعوت دے دی۔
