یَوْمَجس دن
تَرْجُفُکانپے گی
الْاَرْضُزمین
وَالْجِبَالُاور پہاڑ
وَكَانَتِاور ہوں گے
الْجِبَالُپہاڑ
كَثِیْبًاٹیلے
مَّهِیْلًابکھرے ہوئے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ اُس دن ہو گا جب زمین اور پہاڑ لرز اُٹھیں گے اور پہاڑوں کا حال ایسا ہو جائے گا جیسے ریت کے ڈھیر جو بکھرے جا رہے ہیں۔¹

چونکہ اُس وقت پہاڑوں کے اجزاء کو باندھ کر رکھنے والی کشش ختم ہو جائے گی، اس لیے پہلے تو وہ باریک بُھر بھری ریت کے ٹیلے بن جائیں گے، پھر جو زلزلہ زمین کو ہلا رہا ہو گا اس کی وجہ سے یہ ریت بکھر جائے گی اور ساری زمین ایک چٹیل میدان بن جائے گی۔ اسی آخری کیفیت کو سُورہ طٰہٰ آیات1۰5 تا 1۰7 میں اس طرح بیان کیا گیا ہے کہ ”لوگ تم سے پُوچھتے ہیں کہ اِن پہاڑوں کا کیا بنے گا۔ کہو، میرا رب اِن کو دھُول بنا کر اڑا دے گا اور زمین کو ایسا ہموار چٹیل میدان بنا دے گا کہ اس میں تم کوئی بَل اور سَلوَٹ نہ دیکھو گے“۔
