  1. وَّاَنَّااور بیشک ہم
  2. ظَنَنَّاۤسمجھتے تھے ہم
  3. اَنْکہ
  4. لَّنْہرگز نہیں
  5. نُّعْجِزَہم عاجز کرسکتے
  6. اللّٰهَاللہ کو
  7. فِیمیں
  8. الْاَرْضِزمین
  9. وَلَنْاور ہرگز نہیں
  10. نُّعْجِزَهٗہم عاجز کرسکتے اس کو
  11. هَرَبًابھاگ کر

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور یہ کہ”ہم سمجھتے تھے کہ نہ زمین میں ہم اللہ کو عاجز کر سکتے ہیں اور نہ بھاگ کر اُسے ہرا سکتے ہیں۔“1

  1. مطلب یہ ہے کہ ہمارے اِسی خیال نے ہمیں نجات کی راہ دکھا دی۔ ہم چونکہ اللہ سے بے خوف نہ تھے اور ہمیں یقین تھا کہ اگر ہم نے اس کی نافرمانی کی تو اس کی گرفت سے کسی طرح بچ نہ سکیں گے، اس لیے جب وہ کلام ہم نے سُناجو اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے راہِ راست بتانے آیا تھا تو ہم یہ جر أ ت نہ کر سکے کہ حق معلوم ہو جانے کے بعد بھی اُنہی عقائد پر جمے رہتے جو ہمارے نادان لوگوں نے ہم میں پھیلا رکھے تھے۔
