Commentary (one passage for ayahs 71:7, 71:8)
آیت 7{ وَاِنِّیْ کُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُہُمْ لِتَغْفِرَلَہُمْ جَعَلُوْٓا اَصَابِعَہُمْ فِیْٓ اٰذَانِہِمْ } ”اور میں نے جب بھی انہیں پکارا تاکہ تو ان کی مغفرت فرما دے تو انہوں نے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ٹھونس لیں“ { وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِیَابَہُمْ } ”اور اپنے کپڑے بھی اپنے اوپر لپیٹ لیے“ { وَاَصَرُّوْا وَاسْتَکْبَرُوا اسْتِکْبَارًا۔ } ”اور وہ ضد پر اَڑ گئے ‘ اور انہوں نے استکبار کیا بہت بڑا استکبار۔“ اَصَرَّ یُصِرُّ اِصْرَارًاکے معنی اپنی روش پر اَڑ جانے کے ہیں۔ کفر کی روش پر اَڑ جانے اور جم جانے کے علاوہ ان کا رویہ اپنے رسول علیہ السلام کے ساتھ از حد متکبرانہ تھا۔ وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہم کیسے آپ کو اپنا پیشوا تسلیم کرلیں جبکہ نچلے درجے کے رذیل قسم کے لوگ آپ کے متبعین ہیں !۔۔۔۔ - اردو میں لفظ اصرار اسی معنی میں مستعمل ہے۔
