Tafheem-ul-Quran
اپنی خطاوٴں کی بنا پر ہی وہ غرق کیے گئے اور آگ میں جھونک دیے گئے،1 پھر انہوں نے اپنے لیے اللہ سے بچانے والا کوئی مددگار نہ پایا۔2

یعنی غرق ہونے پر ان کا قصہ تمام نہیں ہوگیا، بلکہ مرنے کے بعد فوراً ہی ان کی روحیں آگ کے عذاب میں مبتلا کر دی گئیں۔ یہ بعینہ وہی معاملہ ہے جو فرعون اور اس کی قوم کے ساتھ کیا گیا ، جیسا کہ سورہ مومن، آیات 45۔4۶ میں بیان کیا گیا ہے(تشریح کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم القرآن ، جلد چہارم، المومن، حاشیہ۶3)۔ یہ آیت بھی اُن آیات میں سے ہے جن سے بَرزَخ کا عذاب ثابت ہوتا ہے۔

یعنی اپنے جن معبودوں کو وہ اپنا حامی و مددگار سمجھتے تھے ان میں سے کوئی بھی انہیں بچانے کے لیے نہ آیا۔ یہ گویا تنبیہ تھی اہلِ مکہ کے لیے کہ تم بھی اگر خدا کے عذاب میں مبتلا ہوگئے تو تمہارے یہ معبود، جن پر تم بھروسا کیے بیٹھے ہو، تمہارے کسی کام نہ آئیں گے۔

آیت 25{ مِمَّا خَطِیْٓئٰتِہِمْ اُغْرِقُوْا فَاُدْخِلُوْا نَارًالا } ”اپنی خطائوں کی وجہ سے ہی وہ غرق کیے گئے اور داخل کردیے گئے آگ میں“ { فَلَمْ یَجِدُوْا لَہُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰہِ اَنْصَارًا۔ } ”تو نہ پایا انہوں نے اپنے لیے اللہ کے مقابل کوئی مددگار۔“ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کی اس فریاد کا سخت ترین حصہ آگے آ رہا ہے :
