Bayan-ul-Quran
اور انہوں نے تو بہتوں کو بہکا دیا ہے۔ اور (اے اللہ !) اب ُ تو ان ظالموں کے لیے سوائے گمراہی کے اور کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہ فرما !

Commentary
آیت 24{ وَقَدْ اَضَلُّوْا کَثِیْرًاج وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ اِلَّا ضَلٰلًا۔ } ”اور انہوں نے تو بہتوں کو بہکا دیا ہے۔ اور اے اللہ ! اب ُ تو ان ظالموں کے لیے سوائے گمراہی کے اور کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہ فرما !“ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کے ان الفاظ سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ اس مرحلے پر آپ علیہ السلام کے صبر کا پیمانہ لبریز ہوچکا ہے۔ اب آپ علیہ السلام کی حمیت دینی کو اس ناہنجار قوم کا ایمان لانا بھی گوارا نہیں ‘ بلکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور فریاد کناں ہیں کہ پروردگار ! اب تو ان گمراہوں کی گمراہی میں ہی اضافہ فرما۔۔۔۔ بالکل ایسی ہی کیفیت کی جھلک حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی اس دعا میں بھی نظر آتی ہے :{ وَقَالَ مُوْسٰی رَبَّنَآ اِنَّکَ اٰ تَیْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَاَہٗ زِیْنَۃً وَّاَمْوَالاً فِی الْْحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنْیَالا رَبَّنَا لِیُضِلُّوْا عَنْ سَبِیْلِکَج رَبَّنَا اطْمِسْ عَلٰٓی اَمْوَالِہِمْ وَاشْدُدْ عَلٰی قُلُوْبِہِمْ فَلاَ یُؤْمِنُوْا حَتّٰی یَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْاَلِیْمَ۔ } یونس”اور موسیٰ علیہ السلام ٰ نے عرض کیا : اے ہمارے پروردگار ! تو نے فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کو سامانِ زیب وزینت اور اموال عطا کردیے ہیں دنیا کی زندگی میں۔ پروردگار ! اس لیے کہ وہ لوگوں کو گمراہ کریں تیرے راستے سے ! اے ہمارے رب ! اب ان کے اموال کو برباد کر دے اور ان کے دلوں میں سختی پیدا کر دے کہ یہ ایمان نہ لائیں جب تک کہ یہ کھلم کھلا دیکھ نہ لیں عذاب ِالیم کو۔“
