Commentary
آیت 22{ وَمَکَرُوْا مَکْرًا کُبَّارًا۔ } ”اور ان لوگوں نے ایک چال بھی چلی بہت بڑی چال۔“ یہ قوم نوح علیہ السلام کے بڑے بڑے سرداروں کی اس چال کا ذکر ہے جس کے تحت انہوں نے مذہبی اور نسلی عصبیت کا سہارا لے کر عوام کو حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کے خلاف بھڑکایا تھا۔ انہوں نے اپنے اسلاف میں سے بڑے بڑے اولیاء اللہ کے ُ بت بنا کر رکھے ہوئے تھے اور انہی بتوں کی وہ لوگ پوجا کرتے تھے۔ جب حضرت نوح علیہ السلام نے انہیں ان بتوں کو چھوڑنے اور ایک اللہ کو معبود ماننے کی دعوت دی تو قوم کے سرداروں کو آپ علیہ السلام کے خلاف یہ دلیل مل گئی کہ آپ علیہ السلام ان کے بزرگوں اور اولیاء اللہ کو تنقید کا نشانہ بناتے ہیں۔ چناچہ اس ”مضبوط اور موثر“ دلیل کو بنیاد بنا کر انہوں نے اپنے عوام کو اس نعرے پر متحد کرلیا کہ اب جو ہو سو ہو ہم اپنے ان معبودوں کو نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔
