- یَخُوْضُوْاوہ بحثیں کریں
- وَیَلْعَبُوْااور کھیل میں پڑیں۔ کھیلتے رہیں
- حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
- یُلٰقُوْاوہ آ ملیں
- یَوْمَهُمُاپنے دن کو
- الَّذِیْوہ جو
- یُوْعَدُوْنَوہ وعدہ کیے جاتے ہیں

تو (اے نبی ﷺ !) آپ چھوڑ دیجیے انہیں یہ لگے رہیں بےہودہ باتوں اور کھیل کود میں یہاں تک کہ یہ ملاقات کریں اپنے اس دن سے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔

Commentary
آیت 42{ فَذَرْہُمْ یَخُوْضُوْا وَیَلْعَبُوْا } ”تو اے نبی ﷺ ! آپ چھوڑ دیجیے انہیں ‘ یہ لگے رہیں بےہودہ باتوں اور کھیل کود میں“ { حَتّٰی یُلٰقُوْا یَوْمَہُمُ الَّذِیْ یُوْعَدُوْنَ۔ } ”یہاں تک کہ یہ ملاقات کریں اپنے اس دن سے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا جا رہا ہے۔“ قبل ازیں سورة الطور ‘ آیت 45 میں بھی ہم یہی الفاظ { فَذَرْہُمْ حَتّٰی یُلٰقُوْا } پڑھ آئے ہیں۔ یہ اسلوب ابتدائی دور کی سورتوں میں عام ملتا ہے۔ اس میں ایک طرف حضور ﷺ کی دلجوئی اور تسلی کا پہلو ہے تو دوسری طرف مشرکین سے نفرت اور غصے کا اظہار بھی ہے۔
