Commentary
آیت 40{ فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشٰرِقِ وَالْمَغٰرِبِ } ”تو نہیں ! قسم ہے مجھے مشرقوں اور مغربوں کے ربّ کی“ قرآن مجید میں صیغہ واحد کے طور پر تو مشرق اور مغرب کا ذکر بہت مرتبہ آیا ہے۔ سورة الرحمن کی آیت 17 میں رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَیْنِبھی ہے ‘ جبکہ آیت زیر مطالعہ میں دونوں سمتوں کے لیے جمع کے صیغے آئے ہیں۔ مشرق و مغرب سے متعلق ان تینوں صیغوں واحد ‘ تثنیہ اور جمع کی وضاحت سورة الرحمن کی آیت 17 کے تحت کی جا چکی ہے۔ { اِنَّا لَقٰدِرُوْنَ۔ } ”یقینا ہم قادر ہیں۔“
