Surah 7, ayah 82

  1. وَمَااور نہ
  2. كَانَتھا
  3. جَوَابَجواب
  4. قَوْمِهٖۤاس کی قوم کا
  5. اِلَّاۤمگر
  6. اَنْیہ کہ
  7. قَالُوْۤاانہوں نے کہا
  8. اَخْرِجُوْهُمْنکال دو ان کو
  9. مِّنْسے
  10. قَرْیَتِكُمْ ۚاپنی بستی سے
  11. اِنَّهُمْبیشک وہ
  12. اُنَاسٌلوگ ہیں
  13. یَّتَطَهَّرُوْنَجو پاکیزہ بنتے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

مگر اس کی قوم کا جواب اس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھا کہ ”نکالو اِن لوگوں کو اپنی بستیوں سے ، بڑے پاکباز بنتے ہیں یہ۔1“

  1. اس سے معلوم ہوا کہ یہ لوگ صرف بے حیاا ور بد کردار اور بد اخلاق ہی نہ تھے بلکہ اخلاقی پستی میں اس حد تک گر گئے تھے کہ انہیں اپنے درمیان  چند نیک انسانوں اورنیکی کی طرف بلانے  والوں  اور بدی پر ٹوکنے والوں  کا وجود تک گوارا نہ تھا۔ وہ بدی میں یہاں تک غرق ہو چکے تھے کہ اصلاح کی آواز کو بھی  برداشت نہ کر سکتے تھے اور پاکی کے اس تھوڑے سے عنصر کو بھی نکال دینا چاہتے تھے جو ان کی گھناؤنی فضا میں باقی رہ گیا تھا۔ اسی حد کوپہنچنے کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ان کے استیصال کا فیصلہ صادر ہوا۔ کیونکہ جس  قوم کی اجتماعی زندگی میں پاکیزگی کا ذرا سا عنصر بھی باقی نہ رہ سکے پھر اسے زمین پر زندہ رکھنے کی کوئی وجہ  نہیں رہتی۔ سڑے ہوئے پھلوں کے ٹوکرے میں جب تک چند اچھے پھل موجود ہوں اس وقت تک تو ٹوکرے کو رکھا جا سکتا ہے، مگر جب وہ پھل بھی اس میں سے نکل جائیں تو پھر اس ٹوکرے کا کوئی مصرف اس کے سوا نہیں رہتا  کہ اُسے کسی گھوڑے پر اُلٹ دیا جائے۔

تو نہیں تھا اس کی قوم کا کوئی جواب سوائے اس کے کہ انہوں نے کہا نکالو ان کو اپنی بستی سے یہ لوگ بڑے پاکباز بنتے ہیں

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 7:82, 7:83)

آیت 82 وَمَا کَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِہٖٓ الاّآ اَنْ قَالُوْٓا اَخْرِجُوْہُمْ مِّنْ قَرْیَتِکُمْج اِنَّہُمْ اُنَاسٌ یَّتَطَہَّرُوْنَ ان کے پاس کوئی معقول جواب تو تھا نہیں ‘ شرم و حیا کو وہ لوگ پہلے ہی بالائے طاق رکھ چکے تھے۔ کوئی دلیل ‘ کوئی عذر ‘ کوئی معذرت ‘ جب کچھ بھی نہ بن پڑا تو وہ حضرت لوط علیہ السلام اور آپ علیہ السلام کے گھر والوں کو شہر بدر کرنے کے درپے ہوگئے۔ حضرت لوط علیہ السلام کی بیوی اس مقامی قوم سے تعلق رکھتی تھی ‘ اس لیے وہ آخر وقت تک اپنی قوم کے ساتھ ملی رہی۔ حضرت لوط علیہ السلام اللہ کے حکم سے اپنی بیٹیوں کو لے کر عذاب آنے سے پہلے وہاں سے نکل گئے۔
