- فَكَذَّبُوْهُتو انہوں نے جھٹلایا دیا اس کو
- فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُتو ہم نے نجات دی اس کو
- وَالَّذِیْنَاور ان لوگوں کو

تو انہوں نے اس ؑ کو جھٹلایا تو بچالیا ہم نے اس کو اور جو اس کے ساتھی تھے کشتی میں اور ہم نے غرق کردیا ان لوگوں کو جنہوں نے ہماری آیات کو جھٹلایا یقیناً وہ اندھے لوگ تھے

Commentary
آیت 64 فَکَذَّبُوْہُ فَاَنْجَیْنٰہُ وَالَّذِیْنَ مَعَہٗ فِی الْْفُلْکِ وَاَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِیْنَ کَذَّبُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا ط اِنَّہُمْ کَانُوْا قَوْماً عَمِیْنَ یعنی وہ ایسی قوم تھی جس نے آنکھیں ہونے کے باوجود اللہ کی نشانیوں کو دیکھنے اور حق کو پہچاننے سے انکار کردیا۔ حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کے ساتھی اہل ایمان بہت ہی کم لوگ تھے۔ آپ علیہ السلام نے ساڑھے نو سو برس تک اپنی قوم کو دعوت دی تھی اس کے باوجود بہت تھوڑے لوگ ایمان لائے تھے ‘ جو آپ علیہ السلام کے ساتھ کشتی میں سیلاب سے محفوظ رہے۔ آپ علیہ السلام کے تین بیٹوں میں سے حضرت سام کی اولاد میں سے عاد نام کے ایک سردار بڑے مشہور ہوئے اور پھر ان ہی کے نام پر قوم عاد وجود میں آئی۔ آگے اسی قوم کا تذکرہ ہے۔
