Surah 7, ayah 51

  1. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  2. اتَّخَذُوْاجنہوں نے بنالیا
  3. دِیْنَهُمْاپنے دین کو
  4. لَهْوًاشغل
  5. وَّلَعِبًااور کھیل
  6. وَّغَرَّتْهُمُاور دھوکے میں ڈالے رکھا ان کو
  7. الْحَیٰوةُزندگی نے
  8. الدُّنْیَا ۚدنیا کی
  9. فَالْیَوْمَتو آج
  10. نَنْسٰىهُمْہم بھلادیں گے ان کو
  11. كَمَاجیسا کہ
  12. نَسُوْاوہ بھول گئے تھے
  13. لِقَآءَملاقات کو
  14. یَوْمِهِمْاپنے اس دن کی
  15. هٰذَا ۙاس
  16. وَمَااور جو
  17. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  18. بِاٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات کا
  19. یَجْحَدُوْنَانکار کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو کھیل اور تفریح بنا لیا تھا اور جنہیں دنیا کی زندگی نے فریب میں مبتلا کر رکھا تھا۔ اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ آج ہم بھی انہیں اسی طرح بُھلا دیں گے جس طرح وہ اِس دن کی ملاقات بھُولے رہے اور ہماری آیتوں کا انکار کرتے رہے۔“1

  1.  اہلِ جنت اور اہل دوزخ اور اصحاب الاعراف کی اس گفتگو سےکسی حد تک اندازہ کیا جا سکتا ہے کہ عالم آخرت میں انسان کی قوتوں کا پیمانہ کس قدر وسیع ہو جائے گا ۔ وہاں آنکھوں کی بینائی اتنے بڑے پیمانہ پر ہو گی کہ جنت اور دوزخ اور اعراف کے لوگ جب چاہیں گے ایک دوسرے کو دیکھ سکیں گے۔ وہاں  آواز  اور سماعت بھی اتنے بڑے پیمانہ پر ہوگی کہ اِن مختلف دنیاؤں کے لوگ ایک دوسرے سے بآسانی گفت و شینید کر سکیں گے۔یہ اور ایسے ہی دوسرے بیانات جو عالم آخرت کے متعلق ہمیں  قرآن میں ملتے ہیں۔ اس بات کا تصور دلانے کے لیے کافی ہیں کہ وہاں زندگی کے قوانین  ہماری موجودہ دنیا کے قوانین طبیعی سے بالکل مختلف ہوں گے، اگر چہ ہماری شخصیتیں یہی رہیں گی جو یہاں ہیں۔ جن لوگوں کے دماغ اِس  عالمِ طبیعی کے حدود میں  اس قدر مقیّد ہیں کہ موجودہ زندگی اور اس کے مختصر پیمانوں سے وسیع تر کسی چیز کا تصور ان میں نہیں سما سکتا وہ قرآن ور حدیث اِن بیانات کو بڑے اچنبھے کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں اور بسا اوقات ان کا مذاق اُڑا کر  اپنی خفیف العقلی کا مزید ثبوت بھی دینے لگتے ہیں۔ مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ان بیچاروں کو دماغ جتنا تنگ ہے زندگی کے امکانات اُتنے تنگ نہیں ہیں۔

(ان کے لیے) جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو تماشا اور کھیل بنا لیا تھا اور انہیں دنیا کی زندگی نے دھوکے میں مبتلا کردیا تھا لہٰذا آج کے دن ہم بھی انہیں نظر انداز کردیں گے جیسا کہ انہوں نے اس دن کی ملاقات کو بھلائے رکھا تھا اور جیسا کہ وہ ہماری آیات کا انکار کرتے رہے تھے

آیت 51 الَّذِیْنَ اتَّخَذُوْا دِیْنَہُمْ لَہْوًا وَّلَعِبًا وَّغَرَّتْہُمُ الْحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنْیَاج فَالْیَوْمَ نَنْسٰہُمْ کَمَا نَسُوْا لِقَآءَ یَوْمِہِمْ ہٰذَالا نسیان کے ایک معنی تو ہیں بھول جانا ‘ جبکہ اس کے دوسرے معنی ہیں جان بوجھ کر نظر انداز کرنا۔
