- وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
- اٰمَنُوْاجو ایمان لائے
- وَعَمِلُوااور انہوں نے عمل کئے
- الصّٰلِحٰتِاچھے
- لَانہیں
- نُكَلِّفُہم تکلیف دیتے
- نَفْسًاکسی جان کو
- اِلَّامگر
- وُسْعَهَاۤ ؗاس کی وسعت کے مطابق
- اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی لوگ
- اَصْحٰبُساتھی ہیں
- الْجَنَّةِ ۚجنت کے
- هُمْوہ
- فِیْهَااس میں
- خٰلِدُوْنَہمیشہ رہنے والے ہیں

Bayan-ul-Quran
اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے۔۔ ہم کسی جان کو ذمہ دار نہیں ٹھہرائیں گے مگر اس کی وسعت کے مطابق۔۔ وہی ہوں گے جنت والے اس میں رہیں گے ہمیشہ ہمیش۔

Commentary
آیت 42 وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لاَ نُکَلِّفُ نَفْسًا الاَّ وُسْعَہَآز اولٰٓءِکَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّۃِج ہُمْ فِیْہَا خٰلِدُوْنَ یہ مضمون سورة البقرۃ کی آخری آیت میں بھی آچکا ہے۔ اب یہاں پھر دہرایا گیا ہے کہ آخرت کا محاسبہ انفرادی طور پر ہوگا اور ہر فرد کی صلاحیتوں اور اس کو ودیعت کی گئی نعمتوں کے عین مطابق ہوگا۔ کسی کی استطاعت سے زیادہ کی ذمہ داری اس پر نہیں ڈالی جائے گی۔
