  1. وَاِذْاور جب
  2. تَاَذَّنَخبر دی
  3. رَبُّكَتیرے رب نے
  4. لَیَبْعَثَنَّالبتہ ضرور بھیجے گا
  5. عَلَیْهِمْان پر
  6. اِلٰیتک
  7. یَوْمِدن
  8. الْقِیٰمَةِقیامت کے
  9. مَنْاسے جو
  10. یَّسُوْمُهُمْچکھائے گا ان کو
  11. سُوْٓءَبرا
  12. الْعَذَابِ ؕعذاب
  13. اِنَّبیشک
  14. رَبَّكَتیرا رب
  15. لَسَرِیْعُالبتہ جلدی دینے والا ہے
  16. الْعِقَابِ ۖۚسزا
  17. وَاِنَّهٗاور بیشک وہ
  18. لَغَفُوْرٌالبتہ غفور
  19. رَّحِیْمٌرحیم ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور یاد کرو جبکہ تمہارے رب نے اعلان کر دیا1 کہ”وہ قیامت تک برابر ایسے لوگ بنی اسرائیل پر مسلّط کرتا رہے گا جو ان کو بدترین عذاب دیں گے،2“ یقیناً تمہارا رب سزا دینے میں تیز دست ہے اور یقیناً وہ در گزر اور رحم سے بھی کام لینے والا ہے

  1. اصل میں لفظ تَاذَّن استعمال ہوا ہے جس کا مفہوم تقریباً وہی ہے جو نوٹس دینے یا خبردار کر دینے کا ہے۔

  2. یہ تنبیہ بنی اسرائیل کو تقریباً آٹھویں صدی قبل مسیح سے مسلسل کی جا رہی تھی۔ چنانچہ یہودیوں کے مجموعہ کتبِ مقدسہ میں یسعیاہ اور یرمیاہ اور ان کے بعد آنے والے انبیاء کی تمام کتابیں اسی تنبیہ پر مشتمل ہیں پھر یہی تنبیہ مسیح علیہ السلام نے انہیں کی جیسا کہ انا جیل میں ان کی متعدد تقریروں سے ظاہر ہے۔ آخر میں قرآن نے اس کی توثیق کی۔ اب یہ بات قرآن اور اس سے پہلے صحیفوں کی صداقت پر ایک بین شہادت ہے کہ اُس وقت سے لے کر آج تک تاریخ میں کوئی دور ایسا نہیں گزرا ہے جس میں یہودی قوم دنیا میں کہیں نہ کہیں روندی اور پامال نہ کی جاتی رہی ہو۔

اور (یاد کرو) جب آپ ﷺ کے رب نے یہ اعلان کردیا کہ وہ لازماً مسلط کرتا رہے گا ان پر قیامت کے دن تک ایسے لوگوں کو جو انہیں بدترین عذاب میں مبتلا کرتے رہیں گے یقیناً آپ کا رب سزا دینے میں بہت جلدی کرتا ہے اور یقیناً وہ غفور بھی ہے اور رحیم بھی

Commentary

آیت 167 وَاِذْ تَاَذَّنَ رَبُّکَ لَیَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَیْہِمْ اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْقِیٰمَۃِ مَنْ یَّسُوْمُہُمْ سُوْٓءَ الْعَذَابِ ط اِنَّ رَبَّکَ لَسَرِیْعُ الْعِقَابِِج وَ اِنَّہٗ لَغَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ اللہ تعالیٰ کی ایک شان تو یہ ہے کہ وہ عَزِیْزٌ ذُوانْتِقَام اور سَرِیْعُ الْعِقَاب ہے اور اس کی دوسری شان یہ ہے کہ وہ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمہے۔ اب اس کا دار و مدار انسانوں کے طرز عمل پر ہے کہ وہ اپنے آپ کو اس کی کس شان کا مستحق بناتے ہیں۔ اس آیت میں یہود کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے جس قانون اور فیصلے کا ذکر ہو رہا ہے وہ بنی اسرائیل کی پوری تاریخ کی صورت میں ہماری نگاہوں کے سامنے ہے۔
